We were seated right by the entrance, but the breeze coming in was nice, and I actually preferred the table seating to the counter. This time, we made a reservation for the ☆Chef's Choice Course for ¥8,500. I heard the portions were quite large, so I asked for the smallest course. There were 9 skewers in total! The person serving us wasn't very fluent in Japanese, so it was hard to ask what things were. I didn't know the names of most of the skewers, but they were all delicious! Then, there was the stuffed pepper, which is said to have originated at Torimou! It was absolutely delicious! I could have easily eaten another one. The chicken meatballs were so good, I had high expectations for everything else. Then, we got something that looked like sashimi, which also went great with sake. And then, there was steak! It was so tender and flavorful. For the finale, we had a choice between rice porridge or noodle soup, and we went with the porridge. I was already stuffed and thought that was the end, but then they brought out a caviar hand roll! As I had heard, the portions were huge. For ¥8,500, it was an incredible deal! I'll definitely be back. Thank you for the meal!

I had heard there would be a lot of food, so I went with an empty stomach, ready for anything. The refreshing appetizer whetted my appetite, and the first skewer was a revelation! This liver, what is it?! The texture and flavor were so delicious, my eyes almost closed in bliss. From there, delicious skewers kept coming out, one after another. The "Kami-Shiro" grilled with tare sauce (no photo) was melt-in-your-mouth, and the chicken meatballs and stuffed peppers with garlic were so flavorful, they made the sake go down smoothly. I couldn't stop eating, and just kept ordering more. Chateaubriand and sukiyaki followed. And then the final dish was incredible! It was a caviar onigiri to finish. The atmosphere was lively, and it was such a great place. I definitely want to go back!

**Overall Impression** * **Accessibility:** The restaurant attracts a diverse clientele, making it easy to feel comfortable. * **Space:** It's a bit cramped, with close proximity to neighboring tables. * **Service:** One of the servers (wearing black-rimmed glasses) had a poor attitude. * **Food:** The courses are filling. * **Duration:** The entire experience, including the final dish, takes around 2.5 hours, which might be too long for some. * **Skewers:** All the skewers are delicious (as expected for the price). **Final Thoughts:** While it's not a must-visit, it's a safe bet. However, I had a negative experience with the service. Despite providing my reservation name and party size, I was seated at a different table. When I expressed confusion, the server simply tilted their head and sighed. I was then made to wait on the second floor, which was unrelated to my reservation. There are plenty of other places with delicious skewers at a lower price, so I'm not sure I'll return. That said, I do enjoy their sauce. Thank you for the meal.

I was taken to a legendary yakitori restaurant, established in 1949 and arguably the pinnacle of all yakitori shops in Japan, for my birthday celebration. We reserved the chef's omakase course. The first dish, a refreshing 'gatsupon' (pork belly and ponzu), set the stage for an exciting culinary journey. The first skewer was 'tsukune' (chicken meatballs). 'Tsukune' first? And it was unbelievably delicious! The combination of cartilage and a hint of garlic was simply divine, igniting my appetite. Next came the legendary 'reba' (liver). I'd never seen liver with such sharp edges before. It melted in my mouth, bursting with intense flavor. One after another, skewers of pure culinary bliss arrived, each one bringing tears to my eyes. Some dishes weren't even on skewers, like the 'motsuyaki' (grilled offal) and even steak and sukiyaki. Then came the restaurant's signature dish, the 'piiman no nikutsume' (stuffed green pepper). This was the first time I had ever tasted such a delicious stuffed green pepper. The only miscalculation was the sheer volume of food. With a staggering 16 dishes, I could only manage a bite of the last five before giving them to my husband. I hate my small stomach! This was the best yakitori experience of my life. Reservations are relatively easy to make, so I highly recommend it. Thank you for the meal.

I was able to visit on a weekday at 9 PM. I ordered the ¥8,500 course, I think. Since it was during a busy time, the food took a while to come out. It was tough that after two hours, the food still wasn't ready. 🥺 I don't drink much alcohol, so I usually eat and then leave, so the long wait for the food was tiring and I wanted to leave early. The food was delicious, although it depends on your preference for different cuts of meat! However, it took so long that I was pretty full by the time the food arrived, so I wasn't really excited about it anymore. 😂 During peak hours, I felt the noise, so it might be good for people who drink alcohol! Looking at the menu, the prices for individual dishes seem high, so maybe the course is a better option. ✨ I was looking forward to the final porridge, but I was too full to really taste it. 🥺 I chose porridge and warm noodles. It was sad that I, a rice person, found the noodles easier to eat. 🥺 I wondered if the porridge had been sitting out for a while before it came out... There was no dessert included. The photo shows the course menu.
