This Kyoto-based cacao and chocolate specialty store offers drinks, chocolates, and gelato made with freshly squeezed cacao! I ordered the My Cacao Latte (¥594), Cacao Sand (¥250 with milk), and Truffle (¥363 with plain). The cacao latte had a refreshing, tangy flavor that was interesting, and both the cacao sand and truffle were smooth and melted in my mouth, making them delicious 😊
What I loved: * The customer service was incredibly attentive. * You can choose from four different levels of sweetness for the hot chocolate. * The eat-in area has a one-hour time limit, but it's great that they offer power outlets and Wi-Fi. Who I recommend it to: * This was the first time I've had a hot chocolate (My Cacao Latte) with such a rich cocoa flavor. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a strong, bold hot chocolate. It was truly eye-opening in its intensity! I received a cookie for writing this review, so it's considered #PR, but I've written my honest opinion.
Today, I ordered the "Cacao Frappe" and "Cacao Sand." The "Cacao Frappe" was sold out, but I was lucky enough to get one just as they restocked. The cool, refreshing cacao is perfect for this hot weather, and the rich cacao aroma makes it even better! The "Cacao Sand" has a richer chocolate than your typical chocolate sandwich, which is a nice touch. The moist, rich chocolate sandwiched between crispy bread makes the "Cacao Sand" a definite repeat purchase! The shop has a great view and is perfect for relaxing. I also like the background music. #PR
My Cacao Latte! I had it♪ Located on the 1st floor of Marunouchi Oazo, right in front of Tokyo Station, is a chocolate shop (with a cafe). I had their My Cacao Latte. After work, I was looking for a cafe to relax in near Tokyo Station, and I found this place. I was drawn in by the sign for "My Cacao Latte" and the fact that you could choose the sweetness and milk. It seems they have stores in Tokyo and Kyoto. They also have an online shop. The interior is quite calm. Surprisingly? There were quite a few male customers using it alone. It's right in front of Tokyo Station and has outlets, so it seems very convenient. ▶︎ What I had ◎ My Cacao Latte ¥594 + Cacao Sand Cookie Set ¥250 You can choose from the following for your cacao latte: - Temperature: Ice/Hot - Sweetness: Sweet/Standard/Bitter/No Sugar - Milk: Cow's Milk/Cashew Milk/Oat Milk I chose ice/bitter/cow's milk. It was served in about 2 minutes. It was definitely bitter. Really bitter. I want to try the standard one too. And the sand cookie today was milk. Indonesian cacao sandwiched between langue de chat cookies. This one was normal? sweetness. It's about 5-6 cm in diameter and you can eat it in one bite. It has outlets, so it's perfect for taking a break at a cafe. ▶︎ Customer demographics - Male to female ratio 4:6 - Mostly "alone" and "with family" ▶︎ Crowdedness - Around 5 pm on a weekday, the store was about 80% full. - Reservations are not available. ▶︎ Seat types - Counter: Yes. About 10 seats. - Private room: No - Open seating: No
While I was looking at the menu outside the store, a kind staff member informed me before I reached the counter that it was crowded and they might have difficulty finding a table for two. As I was lining up to pay for takeout, the same staff member noticed a table had become available and prepared it for me while I was still in line. I was deeply touched by their hospitality. The cacao squash I ordered had a refreshing lemon flavor with a distinct cacao taste. The cacao banana frappe was even better than the Frappuccino I had at Starbucks nearby! The products were delicious, and the staff's service was excellent. This is a great spot to relax and cool down, away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo Station. I highly recommend it.
