A delightful shop offering takeout sweets and deli items ❤️ Traditional Chantilly cream is also available for purchase. My friend recommended the cornbread. Following my friend's recommendation, I visited to pick up a half loaf of cornbread. It's ¥900 for a whole loaf and ¥450 for half. ◆ Cornbread Half ¥450 This was carefully packaged in a paper bag... so lovely ❤️ The shop itself is bright and elegant. It has a good selection of items suitable for gifts, such as: Yokan (sweet bean jelly), cookies, baked goods, and sandwiches, salmon, and other deli snacks, as well as alcohol. The bread corner, though small, was well-stocked. The cornbread I purchased was sliced, lightly toasted in the oven, and topped with butter... It had a scone-like flavor and the butter added a touch of indulgence. The sweet and savory combination was irresistible! Now I understand why my friend recommended it. The cakes are also beautiful ✨ The elegance of the Palace Hotel is evident here. This is a wonderful shop.

I visited the shop to buy a Petit Four Sec tin (¥5,000) as a gift. Although it opens at 10:30 am, I arrived a little before 10 am based on reviews mentioning a line forming beforehand. While there was no one in line when I arrived, a long queue quickly formed within 10 minutes, and I estimate there were about 40 people lined up by the time it opened. This Petit Four Sec tin is limited to 80 tins and is sold on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a limit of two tins per person. The tin is adorable, and the colorful treats inside are equally delightful. The shop allows about 10 people inside at a time, with one person entering for every one who leaves. The shop offers a variety of cakes, pastries, and breads. The bread selection includes unique options, and I purchased a kale focaccia (¥600), a Noix d'Orange (orange peel, yuzu peel, walnuts, hazelnuts) (¥700), and a cinnamon roll (¥330). Everything was delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the Noix d'Orange. The shop is located right outside Otemachi Station's C13 exit, but it requires a bit of walking within the station to reach the exit. However, it's convenient as you can reach the shop without going outside. This shop is for takeout only.

【The Moment Triple-Digit Successes Align】 After the financial results announcement, I always treat myself to something from the pastry shop at the Palace Hotel before heading home. Their cookie tins, available only on Wednesdays and Saturdays, are a real lucky find if you can get your hands on them! I used to think vegan treats weren't very tasty, but these cookies completely changed my mind. The plain, chocolate, and savory flavors are all delicious! The adult-style coconut sablés, with their just-right sweetness, are sure to please everyone, making them perfect for gifts. The "Marron Chantilly," with its elegant appearance, comes in three flavors for a limited time in the fall, allowing you to try them all. The two limited-edition flavors are available until the chestnuts run out... When you scoop into the whipped cream, you'll find chunks of coarsely sieved chestnut pieces. The Marron Chantilly made with chestnuts from the Shimanto River basin and Japanese sugar is available from September 1st. The Marron Chantilly made with chestnuts from Obuse and chestnut honey starts on October 1st. You can't reserve the cookie tins, so you'll have to aim for the day they arrive! The Mont Blanc can be reserved, so call ahead before you go! ■ Menu - Marron Chantilly - Premium Marron Chantilly - Premium Marron Chantilly with Obuse Chestnuts - Vegan Cookie Tin - Coconut Sablé Tin

I purchased the rumored 'Hajikko Roll' from the sweets shop on the first basement floor of the Palace Hotel. I made a reservation for it in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. The 'Hajikko Roll' is a roll cake made from the scraps of premium shortcake during the manufacturing process, and it's part of the Palace Hotel's sustainable efforts. This 'Hajikko Roll' costs 870 yen per roll. Considering that a premium shortcake costs 1080 yen, it's quite a bargain. Incidentally, the 'Hajikko Roll' is a good size, enough for about three people when cut. The fluffy dough is paired with melt-in-your-mouth whipped cream and plenty of strawberries! You wouldn't even know it's made from scraps, it's so cute and luxurious. Once you taste this, you might not want to try anything else. Speaking of the Palace Hotel, I've been enjoying their cornbread since I was a child, but I couldn't eat that much this time, so I'll have to save it for another day!

I visited on a weekday afternoon with the purpose of buying bakery goods. The lineup was quite extensive during that time, and while the cinnamon roll and chocolate croissant I purchased were on the smaller side, they were reasonably priced at around 300 yen. I went there specifically for the cinnamon roll, but the chocolate croissant was the real star! The chocolate cream was rich and had an unusual, slightly bitter flavor, and there was plenty of it, making it very satisfying. The croissant dough was also baked well, creating a perfect pairing with the chocolate cream. It was like a sophisticated chocolate croissant for adults. The cinnamon roll was also good, but since I ate it the next day, the richness of the brioche dough overpowered the cinnamon paste. The icing on top had a subtle spiciness that was a refreshing touch. I'd like to try it fresh next time.
