We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. We ordered the lunch course and added two dishes à la carte. The chefs and waitstaff maintained a comfortable distance, creating a cozy atmosphere despite being in a luxury hotel. The food and service were consistently excellent, attracting business guests as well. English explanations were provided for international visitors. The staggered start times allowed us to choose our preferred dining time, which was greatly appreciated. Finally, the handmade chocolate and origami crane presented by the waitstaff were of exceptional quality, exceeding our expectations. We were also gifted a commemorative photograph, making our wedding anniversary truly special. Thank you for everything.
We had lunch here before checking in. We ordered the autumn seasonal lunch course, and while I don't remember the exact price, I think it was around 9,000 yen. The ingredients are shown in the photo, including scabbardfish, shrimp, and seasonal vegetables. The course also included appetizers, salad, red miso soup, pickles, rice cooked with ingredients, and dessert, making it a very generous portion. We enjoyed the experience of watching the chef prepare the ingredients at the counter and chatting with him while waiting for the freshly cooked food. It was a truly luxurious experience. Of course, every ingredient was delicious, and the presentation, sounds, and flavors delighted all five senses. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the restaurant even went the extra mile to prepare a special red rice dish that wasn't on the menu, which was a lovely touch.
I enjoyed a leisurely meal while chatting at the counter. The vegetables and seafood tempura were delicious. The spring onion tempura was especially good 😊
The shrimp was the first thing that surprised me. The explanations of the ingredients were thorough, and the batter was thin, making everything delicious. While the seating capacity is small, it creates a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The hospitality was overflowing, and it was a place I definitely want to visit again.
I had some free time, so I decided to visit even though I thought it would be impossible to get a table. To my surprise, they were able to accommodate me! Lucky me! I enjoyed the tempura lunch I had been craving. The kakiage (tempura mix) included hairtail, which was completely odorless. I wouldn't have even known it was hairtail. It was light and melt-in-your-mouth. The final dessert was a plum-flavored kuzu jelly. It was a refreshing and energizing dessert perfect for a hot summer day. The thorough preventative measures against infection in the heart of Tokyo are truly impressive. As expected of the Palace! Haha. Whenever I come to the Palace, I can't help but feel a surge of both greed and appetite.
