I visited around 3 PM on a weekday and it wasn't crowded. I went there because I like craft beer. There are many kinds of craft beer, so I think you'll enjoy it if you like it. I was hungry and wanted to eat, but there wasn't much I wanted to eat (and the portions were small), which was disappointing. There were no chopsticks, and when I asked the staff, they said they were in a drawer. I think they should have told me that from the beginning. I didn't drink much because it was an awkward time, but they had an all-you-can-drink option, so maybe a course with all-you-can-drink would be good at night.
This beer hall is located a 1-2 minute walk from Exit A5 of Shinjuku Sanchome Station. It's also walkable from Shinjuku itself. I visited on a weekend at 5 pm, planning to have dinner nearby afterwards, so I just wanted to have a quick drink. I made a reservation just in case, but when I got there, it was quite crowded, so you might not be able to walk in without a reservation. Although, it does seem like the kind of place you could just drop by. It has a nice, chaotic atmosphere, just like you'd expect from a beer hall. There are mostly high tables. They have a variety of craft beers, including Yona Yona Ale. There are light and heavier options, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. I was having dinner soon, so I just ordered a cheese platter. You can order from your phone. It's a great idea and adds to the atmosphere, making it perfect for a quick beer for beer lovers.
Visited on April 12, 2024. I often visit with a group of four friends as a second stop after having drinks at another place (around 9 pm onwards). It's a well-known YONAYONA craft beer establishment. The interior is fairly spacious, but it's usually packed on weekends. The lighting is dim, creating a relatively relaxed atmosphere (though not quiet due to the crowd). Lately, I've been ordering "Wednesday's Cat." It has a slightly sweet Belgian flavor, reminiscent of Hoegaarden. The snacks like potato and sausage are also reliably tasty.
Not only is the place very stylish, but it's also very clean. The beer is delicious, of course, and the food is also very good. Above all, I appreciate the staff's comfortable attentiveness. I found a great place. I'll definitely be back. 2024/09/21 Came back again. The atmosphere is still so comfortable. The beer selection is extensive, and everything is delicious. The chicken was truly delicious. The staff's hospitality is still fantastic. I'm so happy to have found a place to "rest" on the weekends.
I chose this restaurant because it offers delicious beer, decent food, and reasonable prices. It's located in the east exit of Shinjuku Station, one block south of Shinjuku Street. It's in the basement, right in front of the entrance behind Bic Camera. When you go down the stairs and enter the restaurant, you'll find a surprisingly spacious area. It was bustling with customers. I used the standard plan with six types of craft beer on tap. To order beer, you simply scan a QR code and select from the list of beers on your phone. You can also pay with your phone, making it very convenient. The food included in the standard plan is sufficient in both taste and quantity for enjoying with beer. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance.
