A place where you can enjoy noodles made with authentic techniques! If you're a first-timer, order some kind of noodle dish. Soon, you'll hear a "bang!" from the kitchen as something is slammed down. If you don't know, you might be surprised, but this is the skill of "ra", noodle making, where the dough is stretched and slammed repeatedly to make it long and thin. The yakisoba that day may not have been the best showcase of this noodle's characteristics, but it truly offers a firm, chewy texture and flavor, similar to linguine. The gyoza wrappers are also hand-made. They might not be for those who prefer the thin, crispy texture of commercially available wrappers, but they offer a chewy, satisfying bite. The filling is also finely minced vegetables, making for a smooth texture. You can eat it with vinegar and pepper, but I recommend the dipping sauce. This technique, which is said to be the origin of ramen, is worth seeing!

This is a famous Asakusa restaurant with the most delicious hand-made noodles that have a chewy texture. Every time I come to Bazoku, I always order the yakisoba. It's a fantastic yakisoba with a generous portion, featuring chewy hand-made noodles stir-fried with vegetables. The moment you take a bite, you can't help but say, "Ah, it's so delicious, the best!" That's the kind of deliciousness that Bazoku's yakisoba offers. The soup that comes with the yakisoba is also incredibly delicious with its perfect depth of flavor. The gyoza wrappers are, of course, hand-made. These thick, chewy wrappers enclose a generous filling, making the gyoza a delightful treat. Each one is quite large, so if you're ordering it as a side dish, sharing one plate between two people is more than enough to satisfy your cravings!

Tanmen: ¥1200 The noodles were hand-made and had a nice texture. The pork was a good amount, and there were plenty of vegetables. The soup was quite salty. The service was polite. Thank you for the meal.

The cold Chinese noodles here are the best. The noodles are delicious, of course, and the sauce is perfect. The char siu pork is also delicious. The dumplings, however, may have declined in flavor. The filling is too finely chopped for the thick skin, giving it a kind of processed, artificial feel. But, the dumplings are surprisingly good when eaten with the leftover cold noodle sauce, a dash of vinegar, and some of the leftover cold noodle wasabi.

I tried the tsukemen on my first visit. I was expecting hand-made noodles, but they were soft and inconsistent in thickness, with many being too soft. The tsukemen broth was just a regular, strong soy sauce flavor, which was also underwhelming. Everyone around me was ordering the dan dan noodles, so I'll try that next time. It was a bit of a disappointment.
