We used this restaurant for a company dinner. The interior has a magical atmosphere with numerous tanks filled with fish. The food and drinks were delicious, especially the prosciutto, porcini mushroom risotto, and the ajo blanco. The price might be a bit high.
This dining bar is located about a minute's walk from Shinjuku Sanchome. It has many fish tanks with fish swimming around, so you can enjoy your meal while watching the fish. It's the kind of place you'd find in any big city. I happened to be eating nearby that day, so I decided to stop by for a drink and check out the fish. It was around 8 pm on a weekend. The inside is quite spacious, so I couldn't see the whole layout of the seating, but it seemed pretty full. There were definitely fish. I'm a fan of aquariums, so I was happy. I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of men working at night and women supporting them. This is just my personal observation. They have a wide variety of drinks, from sweet cocktails to everything else. The food menu is also quite extensive, with options for a full meal. I was surprised to see a blackboard menu in this kind of place. It was a good surprise. I had already eaten, so I just ordered the barnya cauda. More than the taste, I was satisfied just seeing the fish. Maybe you're supposed to eat fish while watching fish?
A magical restaurant where you can enjoy your meal while watching lively fish swim. It's the perfect atmosphere for a girls' night out or a date. It's amazing to find such a wonderful place near Shinjuku Station... although stepping outside might ruin the mood. I ordered the course menu, and the dishes came out at a good pace. They were well-seasoned and delicious. They had a wide variety of drinks, but the highball was a bit amateurish in terms of the ratio of whiskey to soda.
We dined here with my wife on a Saturday night. Atmosphere: It's decent thanks to the aquarium. 4 stars. Food: This was disappointing. 2 stars. We ordered the ¥4,000 course, and were surprised by the miniature size of all the dishes. It's common for appetizers to be small, but everything else was tiny too. I've included a photo, but it uses perspective to make the food look bigger than it actually is. Be warned, it's smaller than you'd expect. Even the pizza was only about half a slice of bread per person. The main course, the skirt steak, was quite tough. It was worse than the meat I usually have for lunch in Shinbashi. Overall: As a restaurant, it gets a bad rating. If you think of it as a bar, it's not bad. P.S. We were still half-hungry after the meal, so we went for ramen together before heading home.
