This restaurant is lovely, with delicious food and a beautiful view of greenery from the windows. I ordered the full course, including appetizers, soup, pasta, main course, dessert, and coffee. The soup and pasta were particularly delicious. The wagyu beef in the main course had a good amount of marbling, but the fat on the edges was quite excessive. As others have mentioned, the restaurant is quite noisy. Given the clientele, price point, and brasserie style, it doesn't quite have the same refined feel as an Ukai restaurant. On the day I visited, a large group of women at a nearby table were particularly loud, making it difficult to hear the staff. Despite this, the staff were all incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent service. However, the lack of a peaceful atmosphere was a bit disappointing. Thank you for the delicious meal.
We had lunch on a weekday with two people. We had booked a terrace table through Ikyu, but unfortunately, due to heavy rain and wind, we ended up at the counter. The counter was spacious, but it wasn't ideal for two women to have a conversation, so it was a shame that there were no regular tables available. The lunch set included four courses (salad, soup, chicken, dessert) and a choice of one drink (alcoholic options available). All the food was delicious, and they were careful to check for any allergies, which was reassuring. The new onion soup was rich and flavorful. The rotisserie chicken had crispy skin, a savory aroma, and tender meat. The accompanying vegetables were also delicious and meticulously prepared. The pudding dessert had an elegant caramel sauce. The portions were ample for lunch. There were many foreign guests.
The Ukai Group, renowned for its multiple restaurants in Tokyo and Kanagawa, is a household name. The Ginza branch is a high-end teppanyaki restaurant known for hosting former US President Trump with former Japanese Prime Minister Abe. I've had the pleasure of dining at two of their establishments: "Teppan-ryori Ukai Ginza" and "Tofuya Ukai" in Tokyo Shiba Park. Both left me deeply impressed by their exceptional, top-tier ambiance. This time, I visited "Le Poulet Brasserie Ukai," the only brasserie under the Ukai Group's umbrella. Nestled in the Marunouchi area, where office buildings dominate the skyline, this restaurant offers a tranquil escape from the urban jungle. It's the most accessible price point within the Ukai Group, and it consistently delivers a satisfying experience. ▽---------------------▽ 🍴Restaurant Name: Le Poulet Brasserie Ukai 🌟Tabelog Rating: 3.56 (as of December 28, 2023) 🚶♂️2-minute walk from Otemachi Station 💰Budget: ¥15,000 per person 📍1F, Otemachi Park Building, 1-1-1 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 📱Instagram→ @ ⏰Business Hours▷ 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM / 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM ※Closed: 2nd & 4th Saturdays, Sundays, New Year's Holidays ※Credit cards accepted △---------------------△ I dined there on a Thursday evening. 【Reservation Availability】 Reservations are possible. 【Crowdedness】 At 8:00 PM on Thursday, the restaurant was 80% full. The casual atmosphere is a welcome change in a good way. It's a refined and relaxing space that's not overly boisterous.
