I went to the bread corner on the second floor (B2) and got a mask melon bread, a limited edition available only at the main store! It's pricey, but delicious ♡ There's a salad section where you can buy by weight, and I got some shrimp salad. There are so many different kinds of fruit salads, it's hard to choose! They also sell cakes, tea, and other items that would be perfect for gifts or souvenirs, making it a fun place to shop.
I visited this shop at the end of 2023 to buy a birthday cake for my family. The staff were very kind and helpful. While looking for a birthday cake, I saw the zodiac cup and wanted to buy it, but it was sold out. It was still sold out the next day, so I had to line up for the first sale of the year to finally get one! The staff were all very efficient and polite, making the purchase process very smooth. The staff member who helped me was someone I had seen several times over the past few days, and they were so happy for me when I got the zodiac cup. It was really heartwarming! I appreciate them taking the time to care and offer kind words even though they were busy. I don't have a picture, but I also bought an apple pie as a thank you for letting me use their refrigerator while I was on a break from work. They even put it in a separate box for me. It was a bit of a hassle to ask for a separate box, but the staff member confirmed with me if I wanted it that way, making it easy for me to ask. I felt that this was a wonderful shop with kind and attentive staff, even during busy times. The cakes were all delicious, of course! I will definitely visit again when I need to buy a cake.
This time, I purchased jelly. The fruit flavor is so natural and sweet, it's delicious! The container is also cute, making it perfect for a souvenir for a family with young children. (Be careful as the stem part is easy to break off.)
This Takano branch in Tokyo is exceptionally spacious and boasts an extensive selection of goods. The quality and freshness of their fruits are, of course, top-notch. Beyond fruits and cakes, this location also offers baked goods, bread, jellies, salads, and more. There's a cafe space where you can enjoy your purchases on the spot. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer variety of delicious options!
Sunday evening. I waited in line for about 15 minutes. The parfait was small, but maybe it was just the right size. The strawberries were delicious! It's a place where you have to leave quickly after eating, so you can't relax. I wish they had coffee on the menu.
