The day before our reservation, I noticed the bad reviews on Google Maps and considered canceling. But my companion said, "Don't cancel at the last minute," so we went ahead. Since I wasn't expecting much, I thought, "Maybe it depends on the day?" The service was actually pretty good. The doorman greeted us with a smile, making eye contact, and the person who guided us to the tea lounge walked with us, paying attention to my mother's bad leg. At the end, they offered to take a picture just because we had our phones out. They even guided us to the restroom, making sure the signs were visible. (The interior design prioritized aesthetics, so there weren't any large red and blue pictograms.) I was worried about the tea service being slow, but it was fine. However, I had requested a birthday message plate for my mother on the reservation site, but it was completely ignored. If you don't want to miss out, it's best to confirm by phone or some other means. The entrance is stunning with its high ceiling and water mirror. You can look down at the Imperial Palace and enjoy the breathtaking view, making you realize how close it is to Shinjuku. The afternoon tea features peaches in July and August! It starts with a peach soup. The savories were all meticulously crafted and beautifully presented. They bring out freshly baked scones halfway through. However, the crumbly texture of the scones at the Chinzan-so Hotel is better. They come with clotted cream, honey, and strawberry and peach jam, making it a luxurious four-piece set. The French peach mousse was delicious. It's served in a tart shell with passion fruit sauce, and the sauce container is also edible, adding another layer of flavor. We drove there, and if you have two or more people, you get three hours of free parking. We parked on the fourth basement level, and there's only one elevator transfer on the first floor. It's a direct high-speed elevator, so even I, who'm impatient, didn't get frustrated. However, at ¥10,500, it's quite expensive, so I think the Palace Hotel is better overall.

The location and atmosphere are excellent. The Halloween season treats are delicious and visually appealing. While the service has received mixed reviews, I didn't find it to be particularly bad. However, the tea service is relatively slow, so it's best to order early.

The cocktails were decent. While some cocktails priced over 3,000 yen were justifiable, the classic cocktails were just average. I personally found the bars in Japanese hotels to be more to my taste. The amuse-bouche was delicious. The view was spectacular.

The katsu curry was delicious, though expensive at ¥7,700. The view was nice. The service was average. The restrooms on the 33rd floor lounge were exceptionally clean.
