## Pork Belly and Cabbage Sandwich This unique sandwich features a generous amount of pork belly and cabbage nestled within a fluffy bun. ## Bean Bread Hamada-ya is known for its bean bread. I used to live in Sangenjaya and would visit every month, making it a ritual to buy this bean bread on my way home. After moving, I haven't been able to enjoy it as often. I'm so happy to be able to easily buy it in Shinjuku after all this time. This bread is filled with sweet, slightly salty red kidney beans. It was just as delicious as I remembered it, even after all these years.
It's a counter-service system. They have a lot of interesting breads with different fillings. It's a small shop, but they have a wide variety of breads, including savory breads, sandwiches, and loaf bread. They are delicious.
They open early in the morning. There are so many unique breads that it's hard to choose! 🍞 It's fun to pick out what you want 👍
The long, thin bread in the upper right corner was memorable and delicious. I think it had milk cream inside? The dough was also good. Other than that, nothing stood out. It was just average.
The chocolate croissant was good, but the curry bread was a bit bland and not to my taste.
