A gem in the neighborhood. This sushi restaurant brings smiles to people from all walks of life with its reasonable prices and reliable service. It embodies the spirit of Ningyocho with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rice is prepared in the traditional Edomae style using red vinegar and no sugar, a testament to their commitment to authenticity.
This is a sushi restaurant located in Ningyocho. I had lunch there. The lunch recommendation was the chirashi (scattered sushi), so I ordered it. It was topped with tuna, squid, egg, and other ingredients, and it was delicious because it was seasoned. The rice was vinegared rice, and it was made with red vinegar, so it had a nice flavor and was delicious. The rice and the toppings went well together. The miso soup was also delicious. It was good value for money for lunch, and it was a satisfying chirashi.
The "Lunch Bara Chirashi" for 1500 yen was delicious.
Sushiko, a sushi restaurant located in Kakigaracho, Nihonbashi. It's a small shop tucked away in a back alley. There are six seats at the counter and one table. It seems there are more seats in the back. I ordered the lunch bara-chirashi for 1300 yen, which comes with miso soup. It included tuna, shrimp, kohada, as well as red clam strips and firefly squid. It was a good lineup with a balanced combination. The lightly blended red vinegar also had a moderate flavor. It's not flashy, but it's a solid and honest shop. It's a place for connoisseurs. I'd like to try the omakase course here at night next time.
This is a popular restaurant known for its negitoro (tuna and scallion). Both the nigiri and the appetizers are delicious. It's a very busy place, so be prepared to wait.
