This bakery is a favorite of mine, and I buy something every time I go to Shinjuku. They have seating inside, but I always get takeout. It's a typical bakery setup where you grab your bread with tongs and a tray near the entrance and pay at the end. They have a wide variety of breads, including hard breads, savory breads, and even sweet pastries like cornets. My favorite is the classic croissant, which has a crispy exterior, a chewy interior, and a delicious buttery aroma with a hint of sweetness. It's absolutely delicious! I definitely want to go back!

I visited on a Saturday afternoon in late summer, around 1:00 PM. It was still quite crowded, even though it was my first visit in a few years. I bought a marble croissant, a croissant au jambon, a matcha croissant, and a chocolate marron. We shared them with the family. The croissant au jambon is like a croissant version of a croque monsieur. Reheating it in a toaster brings out the crispy croissant, the creamy béchamel sauce, the ham, and the rich Gruyère cheese, making for a delicious combination. The chocolate marron is a cocoa-flavored bread with chocolate and subtly sweet chestnuts mixed in. It has an autumnal feel. I didn't try the other breads myself, but my family enjoyed them. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

This is a bakery I spotted after buying bread at another place during a previous work trip to Shinjuku. I had the chance to work in Shinjuku again, so I visited. I bought some bread to take out, but it was difficult to eat at my work space, so I ate it at the outdoor terrace. I bought the Numazu Saba (Mackerel) with Pickled Plum Sandwich and the Ange Petit White Chocolate Cranberry. The Saba with Pickled Plum Sandwich was incredibly delicious. I never knew Saba and pickled plums would go so well together. The baguette was also nice and firm. However, the sauce dripped, so be careful when eating. I was impressed by how well thought out it was. The White Chocolate Cranberry was chewy and delicious. I saved some to eat as a snack later. The bread is really delicious, but if you eat it on the terrace, pigeons will come close and it can be annoying. They even get on the chairs across from you. It's hot in the summer, so I think it's better to eat inside.

I visited on Saturday, April 13, 2024, a little after 10:00 AM. There wasn't much of a line, and I was able to check out smoothly. However, the hamburger shop next door had a long line of foreigners. I ordered a savory croissant, pain au chocolat, and a cornet. All of the breads were crispy and had a good volume, and they were very delicious. The cornet, in particular, had a unique shape and flavor that I hadn't seen at other shops, and it was a new experience. There's a terrace outside, so you can enjoy it with a picnic feel on nice days. However, regarding the breads I chose this time, they were all so crispy that they crumbled and fell apart, which attracted pigeons that gathered around, making me feel uncomfortable. Also, perhaps because they were dealing with foreign customers, the staff seemed tired and their customer service wasn't very good. It was a shame. There were many other types of bread, so I'd like to go back and buy some again if I have the chance.

I love croissants, so I was delighted to see so many varieties. The ones that resemble cornets are filled with fresh cream and have a wonderfully crunchy, flaky texture. They're absolutely delicious! They might melt easily in the summer though. The croissants were also very tasty, and you could warm them up yourself.
