【Le Monde Shinjuku】 Casual Steak at the Counter Le Monde in Shinjuku ✨ It's a counter-only establishment, so it's perfect for a quick and delicious steak experience without lingering. - Sirloin 150g ¥1,650 - Draft Beer ¥650 The salad is simple, just lettuce! The service is incredibly fast. The steak sauce is a light and refreshing soy sauce-based sauce ❤️ This sauce is truly delicious! The combination of rich butter and the bouncy rice is irresistible. The accompanying potatoes and sauteed green beans are also enhanced by this sauce ✨ The meat is tender yet has a firm texture, allowing you to fully savor the joy of chewing into a good steak! This is a highly satisfying restaurant where you can enjoy a casual steak at an affordable price ♡

I visited around 11 am on a weekday and there were two people waiting outside, but I was seated fairly quickly. The restaurant is small, but they take your order beforehand so you don't have to wait long for your food, which was great. I ordered the most popular sirloin for ¥1,650, and for that price, I think the quality of the meat was good enough. I'm not a big fan of fat, so I might have been better off ordering the filet for ¥2,200, but if you're looking for a chain restaurant, this one is a good choice. I'm not a fan of red meat, so I won't be going back, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap steak. The service was also very good.

I had the sirloin lunch set and ordered a filet mignon on the side. The meat was tender and came with green beans, potato salad, and rice. Some people have said they don't understand why the restaurant has such high ratings, but frankly, I think it's the sauce. It's a matter of taste, and I personally don't care for it. It's not your typical steak sauce, so it's understandable that opinions would be divided. However, the service is efficient and the operation is refined, making everything flow smoothly. The value for money is also excellent, and I believe the restaurant is making a real effort to offer this quality at this price.

A hidden gem! ✨ This famous stand-up steakhouse in Shinjuku West Exit is always packed, and you usually have to wait in line. But today, there was no line at all! I was able to walk right in 🤗 According to a sign on the storefront, they raised their prices starting June 1st. Both the rib roast and sirloin, 150g, went from ¥1650 to ¥1800! Even so, considering the current market prices, I'd say it's still reasonably priced. Way back, over 20 years ago, when I first came to this place, I think it was around ¥1000 or less. At the time, I worked in Yoyogi-Kamizonocho, and my boss told me about a cheap and delicious steakhouse next to Yodobashi Camera. I found it myself after walking around, a nostalgic memory 🤗 My boss didn't bring me here, nor did he treat me to a meal… He just told me about a delicious and cheap 💴✨👛 steakhouse, a hidden gem, and I was determined to find it. I came back today after a long time, and while the prices have gone up considerably, compared to the overall cost of living, it's still very affordable, and the delicious steak is still here. The meat is delicious, and the side dishes, the potatoes and green beans, are also incredibly tasty! 😋 Just like they used to be! ✨ I've been coming to Shinjuku a lot lately, but I haven't forgotten about this place. I just haven't been here because I didn't want to wait in line. Today, there was no line at all, so I was able to walk right in. This place is still great! (laugh)

Steak lunch in Shinjuku. A long-established Western-style restaurant. I lined up for lunch seeking steak, and the turnover was fast. The 10-minute wait was just the right amount of time to whet my appetite for the delicious meal. The salad was a strong style with only lettuce, but it was fresh, so it worked. The sirloin was meaty, which was a welcome treat for lunch. I overheard people ordering variations like "double" and "no butter." Maybe "no butter" is an option. I want to try it on my next visit. The meat and rice went well together. Steak and Shinjuku go well together. It's obvious, but it was a wonderful lunch experience. There are places like this in Shinjuku. Shinjuku is deep, after all.
