A specialty sandwich shop located north of Kinshicho Station. It's only open on weekdays and sells out quickly, making it a challenging place to visit. It opens early in the morning. They offer tuna and egg sandwiches and mixed sandwiches. One half of the mixed sandwich is chicken katsu. The tuna and egg sandwich is tuna and egg, while the mixed sandwich is egg, chicken, perilla leaves, and cheese wrapped together. They have both white bread and rye bread options.

Day 3 of our trip. On our way from the hotel to a coffee shop, we spotted a cute stray cat. The kids and I were watching the cat, and there was a shop in the direction it was looking. It felt like the cat was inviting us, so we went in. The shop we arrived at was a retro-style sandwich shop. Since the cat led us there, it reminded me of the movie "Whisper of the Heart" by Studio Ghibli. The owner was an older gentleman. The shop was already open, so I bought an egg sandwich. We ate it with the kids back at the hotel. The bread was moist and had a soft texture. The egg had a gentle, mellow flavor that felt nostalgic. The fact that the crust was still on the bread added to the flavor. It was simple but very delicious, and I felt happy. Thank you. It was a delicious meal.

The sandwiches are very satisfying. They don't have the blandness of convenience store sandwiches, but rather a homemade, gentle flavor that is delicious. The prices are also very reasonable, with vegetable and egg sandwiches around 280 yen (meat sandwiches are over 300 yen). Furthermore, the sandwich with vegetables and croquettes using the crust of the bread is a steal at 180 yen. After having Egami's sandwiches, I hesitate to buy sandwiches from convenience stores or other bakeries. They open early in the morning, so I can stop by on my way to work on weekdays. I hope they continue as long as the owner has the energy.

I visited this place on the morning of February 25, 2022, as I had business near the station. (Around 10:00 AM) This shop carefully prepares sandwiches packed with ingredients. The prices are reasonable, and the vegetables were fresh and delicious! Payment method: Cash only. Credit cards, PayPay, and other cashless payment methods are not accepted.

The sandwiches here are made with care by the owner, an older gentleman. They're generous in size and very affordable. While convenience stores are good, the sandwiches here are also delicious and don't have any unnecessary ingredients, making them easy on the stomach. They're perfect for enjoying outdoors. The bread seems to be made with special care as well.
