A recent go-to… For anniversaries, teppanyaki. This year, we chose this place. The joy of teppanyaki. The meat is delicious everywhere, but the salads and final dishes are what set places apart. Since it was just the two of us, we ordered a sirloin and a fillet to share. Even though it was sirloin, the meat was firm. The fillet was tender, and we were recommended to try it with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce, which was delicious. The salad had baby sardines on top. The vegetables, especially the eggplant, were cooked just right. The standout was the rice. Garlic rice is standard, but the rice with eel and shiitake mushrooms was unique, flavorful, and aromatic. Abalone Course & Fillet The ambiance was great, and the chef's attentiveness was top-notch. I love garlic chips, and they were happy to add more when I ran out. They even grated fresh wasabi for those who like it. I definitely want to visit again.

This time, I ordered my favorite dishes à la carte. I enjoyed foie gras, abalone, shrimp, and meat, paired with wine. Everything was truly delicious, making me feel so happy. The foie gras sauce was especially exquisite. The sommelier also provided detailed information about the wines. The restaurant's ambiance and the staff's service were impeccable. I would definitely like to visit again. ▪️ Wine Details Henriot Rosé, France White Wine, Beaune du Château Premier Cru, France Red Wine, Resonance Vineyard Pinot Noir, USA

We visited with a group ranging from high school students to those in their 80s, including family members, to celebrate a special occasion. We ordered both set menus and à la carte dishes, and enjoyed engaging conversations with the chef, making for a wonderful time. While the seating arrangement around the teppanyaki grill in a semi-circular shape was nice, the frequent passage of service staff behind us (the aisle was narrow) made it a bit less relaxing. However, this was unavoidable due to the structure. The food itself was excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients, rare vegetables, perfectly cooked meat, and everything was cooked to our satisfaction. Everyone was happy with the meal, and I was relieved that I had chosen this restaurant, as everyone expressed a desire to return.

I dined at the Palace Hotel Tokyo for lunch on a weekday (Monday) during my stay. There were three groups of two, each consisting of a man who looked like a CEO and a young woman who seemed like his secretary, while I was the only solo diner. Perhaps because of this, the chef in charge was very chatty with the familiar groups, engaging in general conversation and explaining the dishes in detail. However, he completely ignored me, a first-time customer, and was engrossed in his own conversations with his colleagues. I believe that treating first-time customers with care is an essential part of good service, and it was disappointing that there was absolutely no sign of that here. Many people from regional areas who rarely visit such places might easily spread negative word-of-mouth based solely on this kind of experience. I hope they will consider this and treat all customers with more care. The food itself was a Japanese Wagyu steak course, so it was decent, but I felt they could have done more to highlight the quality of the ingredients.
