【Marunouchi Oazo】 This shop has locations throughout the area and its appearance suggests a long history. While it offers standard sweets, there's a sense of freshness in the products and packaging. I stopped by when I saw some cute sweets. They were mitarashi dango, but with mitarashi an filling. I encountered them in Osaka and bought some, and now I've found them in Tokyo too! I bought them as a souvenir and didn't get to try them myself, but they were well-received.

I was looking for a place to buy a snack and visited this shop on a weekday afternoon around 3:15 PM. I was immediately drawn to the display of rice cakes, dorayaki (a sweet bun filled with red bean paste), and small mochi with mitarashi sauce. I followed my instincts and bought a kinako (roasted soybean flour) rice cake for 250 yen, a dorayaki (Atagono Tsuki) for 180 yen, and a small dessert made with red beans, agar-agar, and sugar (Daianagen Kisho) for 150 yen. All prices are inclusive of tax. The rice cake was small but packed with red bean paste, and the filling and kinako had a restrained sweetness. The soft mochi rice and the filling blended together perfectly with each bite. The flavor balance was excellent. The red bean sugar confection had a pleasant sweetness and texture. Despite its small size, it felt like a complete world in itself, with a high level of perfection.

📍: Tokyo 🗼 Marunouchi, Tokyo / Gift 🎁 🍽️: A unique twist on yokan, chocolate flavored. I bought it because it seemed interesting for the season. However, it tasted more like chocolate-flavored agar than yokan. It was light and refreshing, so some people might like it. As a yokan lover, I found it to be just okay. 👀: It might be a good choice as a unique gift for an event. The appearance is simple and nice. 🚉: Right next to Tokyo Station, inside Marunouchi Oazo.

It's just transparent sugar, but somehow it moved me. It might be a warm color because of the red bean color, even though it's transparent. The taste is just like its appearance, a lump of sugar. The bun itself had a texture somewhere between sticky and crumbly.

It's near my current workplace, and even though I haven't eaten it myself, I've sent it home a few times and it's been well-received. So, I bought one of their signature items and tried it at work. For this price, the taste is amazing! I didn't tell my parents the price though, haha.
