Experience the charm of a traditional Japanese inn with natural hot springs in a prime location in the heart of the city. As soon as you step through the entrance, you're transported to a secluded hot spring retreat. The atmosphere instantly transforms into that of a traditional inn. Inside, you'll find yourself walking barefoot. Even the elevator is a Japanese-style elevator with tatami mats. The rooms are simple and traditional Japanese-style, with tatami flooring. They are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The view from the room is dominated by towering skyscrapers. Whether you see the high-rise buildings through the shoji screens as a jarring contrast or a futuristic bamboo forest is a matter of perspective. The grid pattern of the shoji screens creates a unique view of the cityscape. Each floor has a lounge with complimentary coffee, snacks, and even small ice cream treats. The top floor features a hot spring with slightly brownish, salty water. The open-air bath has a large skylight, offering a breathtaking view of the sky. It's like gazing at a constantly changing painting of clouds. Soaking in the open-air bath while watching the sky is incredibly relaxing. The food is simply exceptional. The dining room on the lower ground floor provides a serene space to focus on the culinary experience. The dishes are a feast for the eyes and palate, exceeding expectations. They pleasantly surprise you in the best way possible. Each bite offers a symphony of flavors and textures, making every meal a delight. If you're staying at the inn, be sure to make a reservation for this exceptional dining experience.
This place offers a quick escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life, with a hot spring just a 5-minute train ride away. The shared spaces are perfect for relaxing, and the main dining area features creative dishes that left me truly impressed on my first visit.
There was a summer festival in the square the other day! The beef tendon skewers from Hoshiya were delicious! I wanted to get seconds. It went really well with the Jinn soda. Please hold it again next year!
I was truly happy to have stayed at this hotel, which exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort. The food at the main dining room was the best French cuisine I've ever had. The staff's meticulous and thoughtful hospitality, catering to every need, made this trip a perfect escape for relaxation, indulgence, and rejuvenation. Whenever I feel the need for a leisurely getaway, Hoshi no Ya Tokyo is the perfect choice.
Stepping into the Ippo Hotel, you're immediately enveloped in a peaceful tranquility. It's a place to truly escape the everyday hustle and bustle. Each floor boasts a lounge where you can enjoy drinks and snacks while engaging in games like ring toss and kendama. The onsen on the top floor is truly exceptional, with its open, airy design that creates a sense of liberation. I only had breakfast at the hotel, but the service was smooth and efficient, allowing me to enjoy a pleasant conversation with the staff. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
