I knew this restaurant didn't have a sign, so I looked up directions beforehand. It's located right in the heart of the bustling Shinjuku West Exit area. The location wasn't hard to find, so I felt at ease going there. It's a reservation-only establishment, so walk-ins are likely not accepted. I ordered the "Menu 404" for 6,600 yen. ◾️Wagyu Beef Tartare ◾️Hokkaido Deer, Taro Root, Pressed ◾️Yanaka Ginger, Lamb, Cumin ◾️Main Course (Choose 2) Lamb Herb Breadcrumb Bake Wagyu Beef Hitachi Beef Steak (+1,100 yen) ◾️404 Curry ◾️Caramel Pear This is the most basic course, and you can choose two main dishes. It also comes with curry at the end, so you'll be very full! They serve cube-shaped bread in the middle of the meal, and it was so delicious that I asked if I could have more. They said they only provide one per person and bake it based on reservations, so no additional servings were available. It was a shame because it was so good. I was short on time that day, so I told them my desired departure time, and they were kind enough to adjust the meal accordingly. I would have definitely come back if the bread was refillable. (Sorry for the personal preference.)

**Usage:** Holidays **Access:** 2 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station Exit 3 Opened at 12:00 PM, fully booked by reservation, visited with a prior web reservation. There is no signboard, so be careful. It's moderately quiet and you can relax. Due to the reservation system, there is a time limit for your table. The name of the restaurant comes from a network error code. The service and food are both excellent. In particular, the Ezo deer tartare was my favorite dish of the day. It includes smoked burdock, and the smoky aroma and texture go well with the Ezo deer meat. There is absolutely no gamey smell. It's perfect with alcohol. Everything else is also incredibly delicious. It's a place you wouldn't know about unless you were told. It's highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku and enjoy a leisurely meal. Thank you for the meal! Lunch course: ¥3,500 *One drink required Amuse: Yanaka ginger, lamb, cumin Entree: Ezo deer tartare Main 1: Grilled Kagoshima black pork tongue Main 2: Domestic beef sirloin steak Dessert: Caramel pear

Course Reservation: ¥6,000 It was a hot day, but the initial water was lukewarm, which was disappointing. The restaurant is more of a meat-focused establishment than a traditional French one. The amuse-bouche was perplexing, a corn vacherin. While the flavor was good, the plate with scattered popcorn felt rather sparse. Once the meat courses began, I finally felt at ease. The fresh bread was a cute, palm-sized portion and tasted good. For some reason, I couldn't relax and the atmosphere felt strange. • Someone familiar with Shinjuku wouldn't get lost (meaning I did). • The female staff on the floor seemed a bit inexperienced (I only found out about the coffee included with the course at the end). • The dust on the tables and shelves next to the seats was noticeable.

A true hidden gem. You might be confused by the door on your first visit. The name of the restaurant comes from this, so it's a little wink. They serve a variety of delicious meats, making it a paradise for meat lovers.

I checked their Instagram before visiting because they don't have a signboard. I knew the area well, so I had no trouble finding it. It's located in a building in the bustling Nishi-Shinjuku district. I wondered, "Is this really it?" as I opened the door, but inside was a proper restaurant. The course featured all-meat dishes, and everything was delicious.
