I hadn't had a leisurely lunch in a while, so I decided to head out to Shin-Marunouchi Building today. It's been so hot this summer (I feel like I say that every year). On the 5th floor of Shin-Marunouchi, I found a soba noodle restaurant. On a day like this, soba is just what I crave. I ordered a refreshing sudachi soba. Over 1,500 yen for a single serving of soba is a bit pricey, but this is Marunouchi, so it's to be expected. The soba was refreshing and delicious! A truly satisfying meal. ▽--------------------------▽ ○Restaurant Name: Teuchi Soba Ishigatsuki, Shin-Marunouchi Building ○Tabelog Rating: 3.40 (as of August 13, 2024) ○4 minutes walk from Tokyo Station ○Budget: ¥2,000 per person ○Address: 5F, Shin-Marunouchi Building, 1-5-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo ○Business Hours: [Mon-Sat] 11:00 - 23:00 [Sun & Holidays] 11:00 - 22:00 ※Closed: Irregularly ※Credit cards and QR code payments accepted △--------------------------△ 【Reservations】 Reservations available 【Recommended Usage】 Couples, families, friends, solo diners 【Crowdedness】 80% full at 1:00 PM on Wednesday. This soba noodle restaurant is located in Shinmaru Building. You can get a soba noodle meal for around 1000 yen. They also have a decent selection of small dishes, such as dashimaki tamago (rolled egg omelet), mizunashi (water eggplant) sashimi, and fig shiraae (white sesame and tofu salad). They also seem to have a good selection of seasonal dishes. The small dishes are delicious, so I would recommend it to drinkers. I especially liked the tempura. However, the soba noodles themselves weren't quite my taste. The broth was a bit too spicy, so I diluted it with some soba yu (soba tea). The kake soba (simple soba noodles in broth) was fine, so I think the warm soba noodles would be good too. It might be good for people who prefer strong flavors.

This is a soba noodle restaurant located on the 5th floor of Shin-Marunouchi Building. I went there for lunch after arriving at Tokyo Station. It was lunchtime, but since it was a weekday, I was able to enter with only one group waiting. The soba noodles were thin and chewy, and I enjoyed them very much. The conger eel tempura was also crispy and fluffy, which was fantastic. The restaurant is inside the building, so it's not very large, but it has about 30 seats. It's a place I'd like to visit again.

Enjoy soba noodles starting from ¥800 at Shinmaru Building! Located on the 6th floor of Shinmaru Building, right in front of Tokyo Station, this restaurant serves hand-made soba noodles. It was a hot day, so I craved soba noodles and visited alone on a Friday at 9 pm. The restaurant was packed, but I managed to get a seat without waiting. It was peak hour, and by 9:20 pm, about 40% of the seats were empty. The last order time was listed as 10 pm on Tabelog, but I ordered at 9:40 pm, so it might depend on the number of customers that day. ▶︎ What I ate: ◎ Tofu and pounded plum condiment soba with dipping sauce ¥1,540 In addition to the regular menu, there was a seasonal menu, so I chose from that. It took about 7 minutes from ordering to serving. The dish included pressed tofu, pounded plum, perilla leaves, scallions, and plenty of bonito flakes. First, I enjoyed the soba noodles plain. The buckwheat noodles were 28% buckwheat and not chewy, making them easy to eat. Next, I added all the tofu, plum, and other ingredients to the dipping sauce. Is this the right way to eat it? Lol. There was a lot of tofu, so I ate half of it first before adding the soba noodles. The plum flavor was irresistible. Finally, I had the soba tea. It was a light and refreshing soba tea. I was full and satisfied! Incidentally, the regular menu's 'mori soba' (cold soba noodles) is ¥800 excluding tax. It's amazing to find this price range in Shinmaru Building at night! ▶︎ Customer demographics: - Male to female ratio: 6:4 - Many people were there for 'dates', 'with colleagues', and 'alone'. ▶︎ Crowdedness: - Full on a Friday night at 9 pm ▶︎ Seating types: - Counter: None - Private rooms: 4 people - Open seating: 2-4 people tables

Dinner at Shinmaru Building ✨ I was drawn to the soba noodles and tempura 😆 I ordered the 'Large Prawn Tempura Soba Set'. It came with two large prawns, eggplant tempura, okra tempura, and pumpkin tempura. The prawns were large and filling, the eggplant and okra tempura were delicious, and the pumpkin tempura was incredibly sweet and delicious 😆 The soba noodles were a good portion size and refreshing, and the tempura had a crispy batter that made a satisfying sound ✨ It was so good! ✨ Honestly, my favorite was the corn tempura I ordered separately! The corn had a crisp bite and sweetness, and the salt brought out the sweetness even more, making it the best ✨ Thank you for the meal ☺️ #MarunouchiDinner #ShinmaruBuilding #TokyoStation #Gourmet #Tokyo #Soba #NightOff #JapaneseFood #HiddenGem #Tempura #Delicious #JapaneseCuisine
