I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, and I heard they opened a new location in Kabuki-cho Tower. Instead, I decided to go to the original Shinjuku location. The restaurant is located in a slightly secluded alley in Kabuki-cho, and there are a lot of people trying to solicit customers on the street, which can be a bit intimidating. The storefront is a bit narrow, but the English signage might be easy for foreigners to understand. A sign with "Wagyu Burger" written in English is quite noticeable. When you enter the restaurant, you first need to purchase a ticket from a vending machine. I ordered the recommended Wagyu Burger set. They seem to have a soft drink all-you-can-drink option, but I chose iced coffee. The restaurant has both table seating and counter seating. I sat at the counter. A foreign staff member greeted me warmly. After waiting for 15 minutes, my burger set arrived. The cheese and Wagyu beef were very impressive. The meaty flavor and the cheese were fantastic. The fries seemed to have a bit of batter on them, and they were a bit greasy. The iced coffee wasn't anything special, so you shouldn't expect too much from it. The burger, however, was absolutely delicious, especially for meat lovers. It was a great meal. Thank you.

A burger joint seriously crafted by Yakiniku House Taishogun, a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Toyama Prefecture founded in 1987. It is said that they participated in a hamburger competition in Dallas, USA, to determine the world's best hamburger and placed 6th in the world. I visited the Shinjuku SOHONTEN in Kabukicho at 12:00 PM and was told that it would take about 30 minutes for the food to be served. However, I was seated in about 15 minutes and the food arrived as promised. Although there was a line, it didn't feel like I waited that long. Payment methods include cash, transportation IC cards, PayPay, and credit cards. I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and iced coffee. Not only the hamburger but also the fries were delicious. It's open until 4:00 AM the next morning from Monday to Saturday, and I live in the Uber delivery area, so I thought it might be good to order via Uber.

I was surprised to learn that there's an authentic burger joint in Shinjuku's Kabukicho, so I decided to check it out. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality is guaranteed. The foreign staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The taste was truly homemade and authentic! They had a wide variety of dips for the fries, and they were all delicious. I definitely plan on going back.

This burger joint, located in the Kabuki Tower, seems to be geared towards inbound tourists. I came here because Starbucks was packed. I thought it would be an overpriced tourist trap, but it wasn't. The meat and fries were delicious, and the waitress was very friendly and engaging, making for a pleasant experience overall. It was interesting that the set drinks were divided into just juice and coffee, or just Red Bull. Apparently, wings are extra. 🪽
