Absolutely fantastic! It's located on the basement floor of Isetan, on the east side of Shinjuku Station. It's a slightly stylish space tucked away in a corner. I went there to find some sweets for gifts. Their macarons are said to be delicious, but unfortunately, I'm leaving tomorrow, so I chose regular baked goods because they have a longer shelf life. I'll definitely try them next time. The atmosphere is like a high-end brand store, and the staff provides excellent service. It's a bit embarrassing to receive such high-quality service for a small amount of money, but it's also a pleasant feeling. However, it's not intimidating at all, and the balance is perfect. The fresh cakes also looked delicious, so I'll definitely be back. The luxurious atmosphere makes it a perfect choice for gifts that are sure to please the recipient.
I visited "Pierre Hermé Paris" at the Shinjuku Isetan department store. I bought their store-exclusive croissants and macarons, as well as some chocolates for gifts. The croissants were incredibly delicious, with a rich buttery flavor. Thank you for the wonderful treat!
**PIERRE HERME PARIS, Shinjuku Isetan Store** • Infiniment Pistache 378 yen • Chocolat Amer 378 yen • Infiniment Caramel 378 yen • Infiniment Jasmine 378 yen *Exceptional macarons with a crisp texture and delicious cream* This is the Shinjuku Isetan store of the world-renowned patisserie, PIERRE HERME PARIS. Located on the B1 floor of Isetan, directly connected to Shinjuku Sanchome Station, I visited "PIERRE HERME PARIS"! This time, I bought four types of macarons. The macarons have a pleasantly crisp texture on the outside, and inside, they are generously filled with cream of each flavor! Infiniment Pistache has pistachio-flavored cream. Chocolat Amer has ganache chocolate. Infiniment Caramel has caramel cream with fleur de sel. Infiniment Jasmine has jasmine-flavored cream. Each ingredient has a rich flavor, and the cream-based ones have a light and fluffy texture. The ganache chocolate in Chocolat Amer has a rich and moist texture, allowing you to enjoy the differences in each macaron. They are truly exceptional! The macarons have a shelf life of 5-7 days in the refrigerator because they contain cream. They were also selling "WHITE DAY 2024" products, which were all very attractive!
Beautiful and delicious! Parisian cakes! This is the Shinjuku branch of Pierre Hermé, a cake shop originating in Paris. On their official website, they refer to their stores as "boutiques," and their refined style is truly worthy of the name, especially in Japan where the term is often used for fashion stores. The cakes in the display case are glossy, beautiful, and all look so delicious that it's hard to choose. In recent times, cake shops everywhere have been raising their prices, but I thought Pierre Hermé's prices were not particularly high. Incidentally, I looked up information about the main store and found that a single piece of cake costs 10€ there, which is about 1,400 yen in Japanese currency (as of January 28, 2023). Considering that, I thought the prices in Japan were actually quite reasonable. The taste, needless to say, is simply superb. It's not overly sweet, with a refreshing flavor that features fruity accents. The mille-feuille was also enjoyable with its crispy texture. Besides cakes, the cookies also have a wonderful buttery aroma. I highly recommend trying them. I think you'll be completely satisfied with the pastries from this famous Parisian shop!
The sweets and cakes here are of a high standard, with a delicate sweetness that's just right. I highly recommend their treats as gifts for discerning palates. I particularly love their macarons. They're full of flavor and ingenuity, and even a small amount is incredibly satisfying. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is excellent, so you can't go wrong. If you're struggling to decide what kind of sweets to give as a gift, I suggest choosing from the items in the attached photo. They're sure to be well-received.
