I went to Cafe Haiti with the goal of trying their dry curry. The signature dry curry has a mild spiciness and a good, spicy aroma. The calm atmosphere of the cafe is strangely relaxing and allows for a leisurely experience. Amenities include Wi-Fi, but there are no power outlets. The coffee set includes "Haiti Coffee." The set comes with milk, syrup, and even brandy! They have a wide selection of desserts, but I didn't order any today. I definitely want to try them next time.
Dry curry is a rather uncommon menu item, but here it's a staple. The attentive service, delicious curry, and coffee are all top-notch. It's easy to see why this place has been loved for so long.
Dry Curry ¥1100 Caribbean Sauce ¥1150 Custard Pudding ¥360 Today's lunch was at a Haitian restaurant in Shinjuku Center Building. It was my first visit in a long time. The famous dry curry was as delicious as ever. The Caribbean sauce, which I tried for the first time, was also very good. The custard pudding is also highly recommended. Delicious 😋 Thank you for the meal.
A legendary dry curry spot in Shinjuku. The mild spiciness and complex flavors are simply divine. If you're curry hopping in Shinjuku, this place is a must-try.
