I had lunch there. It might be a very minor detail, but I loved the sequence of anago (conger eel), tamago (egg), and tekka maki (tuna roll). Many sushi restaurants serve sweet tamago as a dessert, but I prefer ending with a non-sweet tekka maki. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner if you are staying at the Palace Hotel.

Delicious Sushi in a Refined Hotel Setting I was recommended this sushi restaurant because it's delicious and relatively easy to make reservations. I visited for lunch with a friend. Being located inside the Palace Hotel, the hospitality is high from the moment you enter the hotel! There was a sign at the counter prohibiting photography, but they said it was okay if I didn't capture other guests, so I took a picture. The chef had a gentle demeanor. We started with appetizers and then moved on to the nigiri, enjoying a good variety. The small nigiri pieces are easy for women to eat. The rice is not too firm, so it should appeal to everyone. Personally, I prefer larger pieces of fish and rice, so I felt a bit unsatisfied. I also felt the price was a bit high for the amount of food. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

I had been to the Kanesaka branch in the Hotel Okura before, but this was my first time at the one in the Palace Hotel. The Palace Hotel's lobby and atmosphere are also lovely. I started with a variety of fish as appetizers. I had the striped jack, turban shell, and medium fatty tuna, all of which were excellent quality and delicious. I paired them with a dry sake called Bakuren. It went down smoothly. After that, I moved on to the nigiri. - Gizzard shad - Steamed clam - Scallop with seaweed - Striped jack - Turban shell - Medium fatty tuna - Ark shell - Sea urchin - Eel - Salmon roe - Tuna and cucumber roll All of the ingredients were of high quality and delicious. The rice was also flavorful, but it was a bit small for my liking. However, it was a truly exquisite sushi experience.

I visited for lunch on a weekday, and it was packed. The subtle attentiveness and the timing of the food service were truly impressive. Each piece of sushi was meticulously crafted and delicious. The hairy crab served first was a revelation, eliminating all the hassle associated with enjoying crab. I was deeply impressed. I plan to visit again for dinner next time.

Hmm, it was delicious, but for this price, I think there are better options out there. However, I took lots of pictures for the memories! It's definitely good though! The red rice might be a matter of taste. You can judge the quality of the ingredients by the photos. I recommend checking out the menu.
