It's a spacious store with a wide variety of products, including a good selection of private label brands. There are many self-checkout kiosks, but I found them to be unresponsive and difficult to use.
I'm so happy that there are so many delicious, individually-sized cheeses to choose from! They also had a few different types of New Year's mochi, which made choosing fun 😊. I would love to see them expand their selection to include more: * Organic products * Meat alternatives * Vegan cheese * Vegan milk * Brown rice * Sugar-free options * Gluten-free products * Easy-to-eat grilled fish * Frozen vegetables I love Life and I'm rooting for you!!!
A plump saleswoman, saying "Excuse me," pushed past me to get to the shelf I was looking at. (laughs) I asked her if she could help me find something, but she said, "I'm a little busy..." and pushed past me again to get into a narrow space. I think she must have been a star player on the Nadeshiko Japan team in her younger days. Her hand-offs were impressive. I told her I'd wait for someone else to help me, but no one came. It's hilarious, this store is amazing.
I used the self-checkout on a weekday. The weight scale malfunctioned, and a staff member rushed over to help, but their attitude left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. They told me to "clear the space in front of the register." When I moved to the right, they said, "Clear the space in front" again, this time with a strong, unpleasant tone. It seemed they wanted me to move to the other side. It was clear that either side would have been fine. I was trying to move closer to the right because my baby was in the stroller I had placed there. The staff member was a veteran female employee... I've never experienced such customer service before, and it left me feeling a bit discouraged. I've never had an unpleasant experience at this register before, and I hope they will reconsider their approach to customer service.
