I went to the 3rd Burger Shinjuku Daigard store! The burgers here have a lot of fresh vegetables, and they're delicious 😋 I went there after a long time. The menu has changed. The Singapore Laksa Chicken Burger for ¥740 is a limited-time offer. The signature 3rd Burger for ¥760. The limited-time Mixed Berry Smoothie for ¥590. I ordered these three items. You order and pay at the touch panel by the entrance. Then you wait at your seat, and when it's ready, your number will appear on the monitor, so you just go and pick it up. I was surprised to see komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) in the burger. The Laksa Burger was surprisingly good. I don't eat burgers very often, but my daughter loves the burgers here. They use mostly grass-fed beef, which is good for your body.
Today I had business in Nishi-Shinjuku and ended up having lunch alone. Shinjuku is always bustling, and with the influx of tourists, it feels even more crowded than usual. It can be a bit overwhelming, but I saw a sign that caught my eye and decided to try this place. Their signature dish seems to be a hamburger, but what really caught my attention was the "Chili con carne rice." The name sounded intriguing, so I took a chance and ordered it. It tasted similar to taco rice, but with a unique deliciousness. The fried egg on top was especially good, its yolk adding a touch of richness that made the dish truly exceptional!
I was expecting great things after enjoying the Roppongi location, but I was disappointed. The patty was undercooked and made me feel sick, so I couldn't eat it. Everything was cold. The ingredients were good, but the cooking was terrible, making the food simply not enjoyable. I saw past reviews mentioning undercooked patties, but it seems they haven't addressed the issue.
The staff were very kind and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Maybe that's why there were some unusual notices on the wall, like "Customers who don't buy anything shouldn't sit down" and "No soliciting or selling for profit." (;^_^A It's a restaurant, so what does "sit down without eating" mean?! I was a little confused. ww It's a self-service checkout system, but you can also use the counter. If you don't know how to operate the system, the staff will kindly explain it to you. You can ask for water at the counter. I needed water to take my medicine, so it was very helpful. I will definitely use this place again.
The place is called "[Place Name] Chicken Burger." They also serve lemonade and salad. The interior is very spacious. There are both table seating and counter seating. Some groups were making something while eating, while others were working on their laptops. There's Wi-Fi and outlets at the counter. The hamburger buns are fluffy and get squished flat as you eat them. The salad dressing is a refreshing basil flavor. The lemonade is not too sweet and goes well with the food. It's a hamburger place, but they also have rice dishes, and sweet options like anpan (sweet bean paste bun) and custard sandwiches. It's a very convenient place.
