Located just a 4-minute walk from Tokyo Station, this bistro is run by Chef Takayama, who trained at the three-Michelin-starred French restaurant 'L'Assiette Champenoise.' You can enjoy a bistro experience with a focus on high-quality ingredients. ⭐︎ The weekend lunch course (¥3,700) is particularly recommended for its excellent value. It consists of: * Amuse-bouche of the day * Appetizer of the day * Warm dish of the day * Meat dish of the day * Dessert of the day You can choose your main course. This time, I selected the "Roast Beef Heart" and the "Magret Duck Roast (+¥500)." The amuse-bouche was a delightful combination of mascarpone, figs, and prosciutto, while the appetizer, a salmon marinade, was surprisingly substantial. The flavorful squid carbonara was also a highlight. The main courses were equally impressive. The roast beef heart was tender and succulent, while the magret duck roast was juicy and flavorful with a firm texture. Both were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The restaurant is located in a small courtyard-like space between the Shin-Marunouchi Building and the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank headquarters building. The terrace seating would be perfect once the weather cools down. With its excellent accessibility, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, and relatively affordable prices, this restaurant is highly recommended for any occasion. ⭐︎
It's conveniently located near the station and has a calm atmosphere. All the dishes were delicious. However, there's a ¥500 surcharge for duck as the main course and another ¥500 for a coffee set with cake. I made the reservation without knowing this detail, which was a bit disappointing.
The location, atmosphere, and food were all excellent. The corn soup had popcorn floating in it, which I usually eat as a snack. It was a great match and very delicious. The roasted beef heart was exquisite. It was large and satisfying. There were many canelé desserts prepared at the counter next to the register. It's a classy restaurant perfect for a lunch break in Marunouchi.
We met at Tokyo Station and strolled for about 4.5 minutes before arriving at a semi-basement level in a building in Otemachi. We had a reservation and went in as a group of three friends. The interior was stylish and clean, and the staff were very pleasant. We went for lunch, and it was excellent! I think it's also very good value for money. I chose the fish dish. I was a little envious of my friend's meat dish, which looked very generous. From the soup to the main course, we were able to have refills of bread and even dessert. We had another tea appointment afterwards, and the staff also had a time limit for the next lunch reservation, so we couldn't stay long. However, everything was above and beyond the price! It was delicious, beautiful, and the portions were just right! For this price, in the heart of Tokyo, with this quality, I was very, very satisfied.
**Menu Ordered:** ◎Scallop Fritters with Tomato & Balsamic 1,500 yen ◎Grilled Pork Shoulder 1,500 yen You can enjoy dishes prepared by a chef who trained at a Michelin-starred restaurant🤤 The lunch set menu changes weekly. There's also a terrace seating area surrounded by seasonal plants, creating a lovely atmosphere ☺️ The chilled corn soup was incredibly sweet 🌽 Both the scallop fritters and the grilled pork shoulder were unbelievably delicious for the price, and the plating was beautiful ✨️ The canelé dessert was freshly baked, with a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior - absolutely divine ☺️ The dinner course is a bit pricier, but I definitely want to try it sometime!
