This cake is so big and delicious with so many fruits! 🎂 It's a reasonable price considering that other shops with plenty of fruits are charging double the price these days. This store always has a wide variety of cakes, no matter when you come. One piece is quite filling for one person, but the cream is surprisingly light and I was able to finish it. The store is always crowded when you eat in, so I always take it out. I will definitely come back again.
This is a stylish cafe with delicious cakes that any woman would love. It's located on the B2 floor of Shinjuku Lumine Est. I stopped by to buy some sweets to take home. On a weekend afternoon, the cafe was crowded with people waiting, but there was a separate register for takeout, so I was able to purchase quickly without waiting. I also bought a crepe cake for myself. It cost 400 yen per piece and had a very moist texture. The egg flavor of the sponge and the refreshing, non-offensive lemon flavor were both delicious, making me feel happy.
My friend and I visited for the first time on a weekday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes before being seated. We each ordered a cake and coffee, which came to a total of 3500 yen. The cakes were large and the coffee portions were generous, so it might be a good choice for those who want to eat a lot. However, the restroom was located far away outside the shop, which I found inconvenient. While that's understandable, after two hours, a staff member politely informed us, "Our shop has a two-hour time limit... You don't have to leave right away, but..." If there's a two-hour time limit, shouldn't customers be informed of it before entering?
I went with a friend at night, and we had to wait in line for over 30 minutes. The cakes in the display case were selling out quickly, and by the time we were seated, the popular ones were gone. I was disappointed that the cake I wanted was sold out. But all the cakes were delicious! They're expensive, but the portions are large, the seasonal fruits are tasty, and the whipped cream is light and refreshing. It was simply delicious. I'll definitely be back for more! (* ´ ▽ ` *)
The cake alone costs over 800 yen, but it's large. It's filling, and the menu changes seasonally, so it doesn't get boring. I sometimes crave it. Coffee refills are available. There can be a line in the evening. For lunch, there are usually over 10 groups waiting before opening, but there are also many solo diners. If you arrive right after opening, you might be able to get in without waiting. For lunch, you can choose from four pasta dishes. I went with the lemon and parmesan. I couldn't decide on the cake at that point, so I ordered the pasta first. It was a simple pasta with four slices of lemon, spinach, and cheese. No meat or fish. I wasn't sure if you were supposed to bite into the lemon or squeeze it, but I bit into it. I thought it might be a bit bland, but the medium-thick pasta was coated in the lemon sauce, making it a refreshing and summery pasta. The portion size was also pretty good. Personally, I think the Pescatore would be good. The other options are tomato and mozzarella, bacon and greens. Drinks are probably from a selection under a certain price, and the half-cake is chosen from three options announced at the time. The fruit cake was delicious, with the fruit, sponge, and cream all melting in your mouth. It was truly delicious. Service is slow, so it takes over an hour. The picture shows a full-size milk crepe, the lemon pasta for lunch, and a half-size fruit cake. There are many female customers, and it's always crowded, so it's not quiet. Recently, there have been many foreign tourists. However, if you're seated in the back, where the line isn't visible, you can enjoy a more peaceful meal. When I went recently, the sign with the rules was gone, so I'm not sure what the current time limit is.
