I was taken to this restaurant by someone who visited the Morioka main branch while they were on a work transfer. We were served in one of the few private rooms. Since we left the ordering up to them, I don't know the names of the dishes, but the lean Morioka beef was tender, low in fat, and I was able to eat much more than usual. Everyone was so engrossed in the delicious food that all they could manage was "Mmm! Mmm!" The clear, refreshing cold noodles were also incredibly delicious and easy to eat. The yuzu sherbet for dessert had a moderate amount of yuzu in it, and the flavor was richer than yuzu sherbet I've had elsewhere, perhaps because it included a jam-like paste. I felt that a lot of care had gone into it. The cold noodles were so good that I invited a friend to lunch less than a month later, but we went without a reservation and it was packed, with an hour wait. I realized that I shouldn't underestimate everyone's ability to find good restaurants.

To get to this restaurant, you can only use two elevators, which leads to extreme congestion. As a result, there's a line forming on the first floor even before you reach the restaurant. It's been this way for over 10 years, and there doesn't seem to be a solution. In winter, fewer people order cold noodles, so the menu offers other options, but the cold noodles are still the best.

I made a reservation with a few friends and visited the restaurant after 11 am on a weekday. This place is very famous for its cold noodles, and I'd been wanting to try them. There are many seats with ample space between them, but the waiting area was packed when we got off the elevator, so reservations are definitely recommended. The cold noodles come in many varieties, and even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy them with the separate condiments provided. The broth and noodles were delicious, and I couldn't stop eating! I didn't realize there was a large serving option, so I'll definitely order that next time. I'll be back again. October 2024 Update: I made a reservation and revisited with my friends after it got cooler. It was lunchtime, but the atmosphere was relaxed, and it was very easy to enjoy. The last time we ordered the same course, it wasn't quite enough, so this time I ordered the large serving of cold noodles. However, it was more than I expected, so if you're not a big eater, it might be better to add a side dish instead of ordering the large noodle serving.

I visited around 2 PM on a Saturday to avoid the lunch rush. There was a 3-group wait, and it took 30 minutes to be seated. After ordering, it took another 20 minutes for my cold noodles to arrive. I was happy they accommodated my request for extra soup, and the taste was delicious. As a solo female diner, I requested a counter seat and was given a two-person table, which was spacious. However, since I was at the end of the counter, staff didn't come by, and I had to get my own water from a nearby station. Because of the wait times, this place might not be suitable for those who want a quick meal. (Although there were empty seats, perhaps there weren't enough staff.) I was a little concerned about the age of the elevator leading to the restaurant and the unclear emergency exit signs. In these times, I hope they will ensure the safety equipment is reliable.

A luxurious lunch of Pyonpyon-sha's cold noodles and yakiniku in Ginza's prime location! It was absolutely amazing to eat in a semi-private room with a perfect view! The meat melted in my mouth, and the salad wasn't skimped on, with a delicious, well-seasoned flavor. Their cold noodles are popular and are sometimes sold at Ikarisuper. I was disappointed that the Sendai Station branch closed, but I'll be coming back to this location now that I've found it. The service is also good. Reservations are recommended as it's a popular restaurant!
