I went there because I wanted to eat tempura. The shrimp, tuna, conger eel, and kakiage were all delicious, with their lightly fried batter. The thick white wood counter is said to have been used in the previous location and has been carefully maintained. I had a great time chatting with the owner!

Located on the second floor of a building near the Ginza Sukiyabashi Crossing. This well-known establishment has been in business since 1914. The current owner is the fourth generation, and the restaurant is run by the couple. There are only eight counter seats. The interior retains a Showa-era atmosphere, creating a calm environment. I visited for lunch for the first time this time. I had the tempura lunch course. It included kuruma prawns, prawn heads, asparagus, Japanese whiting, ginkgo nuts, matsutake mushrooms, kohada (gizzard shad), shiitake mushrooms, and scallops. Soba noodles with sudachi citrus Mini tempura rice bowl with conger eel and sweet potato Fried mixed vegetable rice bowl for the finale, red miso soup with shijimi clams, and pickles Shizuoka-grown Crown Melon The tempura is fried in the highest quality 100% cold-pressed sesame oil. They take the extra step of meticulously replacing the batter flour with fresh batches. They only use two types of domestic salt, finely ground in a mortar. Tempura dipping sauce and grated daikon radish are provided. The grated daikon radish alone is delicious enough to eat. The batter is incredibly light, something I've never experienced before. The frying technique brings out the flavor of the ingredients. Everything was incredibly delicious! It was truly wonderful. Even though they were frying right in front of me, there was hardly any unpleasant oil smell. For the finale of the course, you can choose between a rice bowl or ochazuke (tea rice), a difficult choice (lol). I was able to enjoy truly wonderful tempura! Thank you for the meal!

Visited on a Sunday. There are six counter seats, and you can enjoy the tempura that the chef rhythmically fries. The tempura has a thin, crispy batter, but the inside retains just the right amount of moisture, allowing you to savor the flavors of the vegetables and fish. The portion of rice at the end of the course is small, but I was able to fully enjoy the kakiage (mixed tempura) that came with it. It was a delicious meal.

This is my favorite tempura restaurant! 🍤 The owner and his wife are both wonderful people, and I always have a great time there 🥰. I'm also always soothed by their son, who is sometimes there ❤️‍🔥. Of course, the tempura is delicious, and it's amazing how it never feels heavy, no matter how much you eat 😋✨. The side dishes are also incredibly tasty, and I always look forward to them 😊. Also, I always enjoy the sake, especially the recommendations, which are always delicious ☺️. I highly recommend this restaurant 🤎.

For my wife's birthday, I wanted to eat tempura in Ginza, so I searched and went. I had a lot of delicious tempura. The owner and staff were kind and their attentiveness was wonderful. I would like to visit again.
