Excellent value for money! I couldn't believe my eyes (and taste buds)! It was my first time in Tsukiji, and I was amazed at how good the value was. I definitely want to visit again next time I'm in Tokyo ✨ If you're unsure what to order on your first visit, I recommend starting with a set. Then, order whatever you like. I chose the ¥890 Ougi set, which is a basic selection of nigiri. After that, I ordered anago rolls, kinmedai, and seared sardine, which was recommended by a friendly regular sitting next to me. Everything was delicious 🎶 I'll be back! By the way, reservations are not accepted. There's usually a line, and on this day, the second day of a three-day weekend in January, I arrived before 6:00 PM and was lucky enough to get in right away! It's generally a large restaurant, so be prepared to wait in line. ^^

I'd always seen a line, so I went for an early lunch and got in. I'm not a fan of standing while eating, but the cost performance was great, and the food was delicious, so I went several times. The staff are all friendly, and even with many foreign tourists, it's easy to order in English, and the food is delicious. The sushi is fresh, just like Tsukiji, and it's delicious. I always order the tuna, maki rolls, conger eel, sardines, and aojiru, and they're all delicious. I don't think the turnover is slow, but there's a considerable wait for weekend lunches, so I recommend an early lunch or a weekday visit. It's a sushi restaurant with good cost performance.

I arrived around 11:00 AM on a weekday. They use a system where you write your name on a board in front of the shop. There was only one person ahead of me. After writing my name and waiting, people started arriving one after another, and it quickly filled up. I got in right after they opened, but I might have been in the second seating if I was a little late. The inside has only a counter with about 15 seats. All seats are standing, so the turnover is fast, but regulars were taking their time, drinking sake and ordering individual pieces. Foreigners seemed to take a while because they didn't know the system. More than half were foreigners, taking photos and pondering their meals. The counter isn't very wide. There's a line on the table, but the regular on my right was encroaching, and the foreigner on my left didn't seem to care, so I ended up eating half-sideways. There were four sushi chefs, and they were making sushi one after another. If you want something specific, you can ask the chef nearest to you to make it. Many of the floor staff weren't Japanese, so their friendliness was so-so, and the customer service level was just okay. I guess this is the same everywhere. The sushi chefs were energetic and cheerful. I ordered a set, and then ordered what I wanted afterward. The set is served as it's made, so it's not all served at once. If you care about the order you eat things, it's better to order individual pieces. It seems they can adjust the amount of rice to your liking, so it's a good idea to ask beforehand if you want more or less. All the sushi was fresh and delicious, and I ate it all up quickly. I can't believe this quality and price in Tsukiji. Rather than waiting a long time at a bad restaurant and paying ridiculously high prices, I'd rather come here many times. It seems there might be a wait depending on the time and timing, but even so, considering the freshness, deliciousness, and price, I want to keep coming back.

Visited for a weekday lunch! Perhaps because I went a bit later, there wasn't much of a line, and I got in right away! Lucky! There were people waiting after I entered, so maybe I just timed it well... It's a standing sushi restaurant, but the staff's interactions with each other are incredibly cheerful, and their customer service is also very pleasant. I've often felt a somewhat tense atmosphere at busy, delicious sushi restaurants, but this place doesn't have that at all, which I think is wonderful. There was also a bargain lunch set with 8 pieces for 890 yen! It's recommended for those who like and can eat any kind of sushi! They also had hand-rolled sushi, which was a treat. Overall, I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to quickly and affordably enjoy delicious sushi!

I went to Sushi Dai Main Branch first, but it was break time, so I wandered around and ended up here. I felt that Tsukiji Market was overpriced, but this place offered good quality for the price, and it was nice to be able to eat casually like at a local sushi restaurant. There were three groups ahead of me, so I waited a little over 30 minutes. Since it's a standing sushi bar, the turnover was fast, and I was able to enjoy a very satisfying, Japanese-style meal.
