The Nakahora Bokujo Theater, now open!! Located on the B1 floor of the new Nihonbashi Takashimaya building. This shop offers an eat-in space using milk from a ranch in Iwate Prefecture. I stopped by for a little break since I had some time to spare ✨ 【Order】 ■ Coffee Float (550 yen) They had soft serve ice cream and yogurt, but I chose the float this time. The soft serve had a milky flavor but was light and not too sweet. You can enjoy the gentle flavor of the milk. The coffee had a gentle bitterness that didn't overpower the soft serve. When I eat floats, I love the crunchy, icy texture of the part that gets cold from the temperature difference, but does anyone else feel that way?! lol I was able to relax and enjoy it while sitting at the counter. By the way, the staff member was a man, but he was very gentle and his kind voice was very soothing. I'd love to stop by again ✨ That's all for today!!
This soft-serve ice cream shop, located in the new building of Nihonbashi Takashimaya, has a farm-fresh feel. A sweet treat to soothe the fatigue from shopping. The rich, milky soft-serve is a crowd-pleaser. The iced latte is also full of milk, giving a hint of that farm-fresh feeling. Taking a break in the department store's basement isn't just about fruit juice!
This soft-serve ice cream shop is located on the basement floor of the Takashimaya SC New Building, directly connected to Nihombashi Station. They use milk from Jersey cows raised at Nakahora Bokujo, a farm in Iwate Prefecture. It's open until 9 p.m., so it's convenient to stop by on your way home. I visited before having dinner in Nihombashi that day. They offer both takeout and eat-in space. There are about five small counter seats. I imagine it's crowded during the day, but there weren't many people wanting to eat soft-serve ice cream at night, so it was empty. I ordered the simple milk soft-serve ice cream. They also have chocolate and a mix. There are also various toppings, and parfaits and combinations with things like pudding and French toast. The soft-serve ice cream tastes like milk! The sweetness is refreshing, and the aftertaste is also refreshing. It's not too sweet, it's just like milk! It's refreshing and delicious.
I've always associated soft serve with a cloying aftertaste and a dry throat, so I haven't eaten it much. However, this place's soft serve really highlights the flavor of the milk, and the sweetness is very restrained. As a result, my mouth felt refreshed even after eating it. It was a very delicious soft serve. I ordered the petite size (cup only), and my husband chose the regular size (cone or cup), but even the petite size was a generous portion. They also sell a small selection of butter and milk, so I think I'll bring a cooler bag next time. Also, the eat-in space is a small counter with only about five seats, so it's not ideal for a leisurely break.
Nakahora Ranch Stopped by for something sweet after visiting Maruzen. I wonder if they're having a hard time since it's a one-person operation? I asked a question since it was my first time there, and the response felt a bit curt. There's a small space to sit and eat, but it's close to where you order. Not really a place to relax. The soft serve ice cream was rich and delicious. But I'm not sure if I'd come back. Maybe it's better to buy and eat it outside...
