I heard that the bar over there has karaoke, so I decided to check it out. The interior has a peculiar layout. One side of the tables is cut off, making it look like a bar, and there's a large, long, round table in the middle where customers are enjoying themselves. There are also some typical izakaya-style table seats, and I was shown to one of those. The lack of uniformity is part of this place's charm. Oh, sure enough, there's a karaoke machine, but the TV is playing a variety show. Are they really going to do karaoke...? I wondered as I was drinking, and then the karaoke actually started. Gentlemen who seemed to be regulars took turns with the microphone. The lady working the floor handed me the remote and urged me to sing! It was a pretty easygoing atmosphere. It was a fun place, so I'll visit again if I get the chance. The katsu sandwich was delicious.

Visited for lunch. Ordered the katsuni set meal. The katsuni, carefully prepared by the elderly woman in the kitchen, was generously portioned and had a sweet flavor that felt comforting. The staff's lively voices filled the restaurant. Katsu curry also seemed popular, as orders were coming in.

The innkeeper's smile and warm greetings are so comforting. I ordered the katsuni for lunch, and it was a satisfyingly large portion. Rice refills are also available. It was a delicious meal.

A place I want to support. It has a good old Showa era atmosphere. It's old, but well-maintained. The flow of time inside the shop is different from the outside. It's a peaceful time. It's a family-run, independent business, I think. I felt a friendly atmosphere, but there was a comfortable distance with the staff. The food is normally delicious. The portions are quite large. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the curry plate is deep, and I was full.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The rice bowls are small, but refills are free. The crispy tonkatsu was made with high-quality pork and was tender and delicious. If I had to say one thing, perhaps the oil wasn't drained enough, as the coating came off and became sticky towards the end. I'd like to try the katsu curry next time.
