Gopan! Rice flour bread and stretchy croissants⁉︎ // R. Baker has an image of being health-conscious and trendy, with a focus on rice flour. It's located on the first basement floor of Kinshicho Termina, in an area with a supermarket, Kaldi, and local confectionery shops. The information on Google and Tabelog might be a little confusing? JR Kinshicho Station has a north and south exit, and Termina has locations in both. R. Baker is in Termina 1, on the south side. You go towards the area with Yodobashi Camera, and then go down the stairs to the supermarket area. It's a bit hard to find. For some reason, there are never any customers in R. Baker... why... It's nice to be able to look around slowly. The bread loaves seem popular, as they have a large display. The only item in the refrigerator is anko butter. I was tempted to buy it~ ○ What I bought ○ ⚪︎ Tokutoku Set ¥500✖️2 sets A basket with 3 pieces of bread for ¥500. You can see the contents, so buy it if you like what's inside! ・Stretchy Croissant Milk ¥290 ・Premium Rice Flour Scone Chocolate ¥290 ・Honey Fromage ¥270 ・Addictive Sauce Margherita ¥320 ・Chocolate Roll Bread ¥150 The price of the chestnut one is unknown, but it's definitely a good deal! It's great to get 6 items for ¥1000! The Margherita was super delicious! As the name suggests, the sauce was amazing! Rice flour pizza was super delicious too! Chewy! The stretchy croissant is heated in the microwave♪ I understand what they're going for, but it doesn't stretch like mochi. It has a stretchy vibe, though. The rice flour bread has a slightly light taste. The scones are light and not heavy.

I often buy the talked-about anko butter and New York babka. The anko butter is delicious when warmed up until the butter melts. The New York babka lives up to its claim of being 'packed with chocolate,' exceeding expectations.

This bakery is located on the B1 floor of the "Termina" building, a 1-minute walk from Kinshicho Station. It seems the main selling point is the use of rose yeast, which is also the origin of the shop's name, "R." However, I'm not sure if all the bread sold in the store uses rose yeast, as there's no explanation. I tried the "Rumored An Butter" and "New York Babka," which seem to be the recommended items. They weren't bad, but unfortunately, I didn't feel anything particularly special about them.

It seems like this place has opened in Kinshicho without me realizing it. They use rose yeast, right? ⚫ Hearth A La Carte - 220 yen (excluding tax) * Strawberry Made with Danish pastry. When reheated, the outside is crispy, and the inside is moist. The white chocolate chips are sweet, and the strawberries are sweet and sour. * Black Tea The bitterness of the lemon peel and its vivid aroma. The presence of the black tea leaves is also not lost. * Green Tea? It tastes like it was brewed in the morning and drunk at noon. Sweetness from the white chocolate chips. ⚫ Rice Salt Bread - 120 yen It has a crust like French bread, and the inside is moist and chewy. The aroma of rice. Just the right amount of saltiness. ⚫ Beef Stew Flan - 230 yen The dough is thin and has a good texture. The ingredients are dissolved in a demi-glace-like sauce. The taste is appropriate for the price.

Located on the first basement floor of the station. Take-out only, no eat-in. Cash, credit cards, and various barcode payment methods are accepted. The walnut bread here is more delicious than any other bakery I've ever tried. It's packed with walnuts and almonds, a treat for nut lovers. And then there's the babka. It's a cube-shaped chocolate bread, not as hard as a French loaf, but slightly crusty. This one is also loaded with chocolate, truly a chocolate bread. I'd even say it needs this much chocolate to be called chocolate bread. Chocolate lovers, definitely buy it! They also have unique items like dashi bread, which is interesting. I always buy the two types mentioned above. If the item you're looking for isn't on display, try asking the staff; they might have it in the back. If they don't seem too busy, it's worth a try. They run the place alone, so please be mindful of the timing when you approach them. And thank you so much to the staff member who cheered me up when my child was crying. I really appreciate it. All the staff are wonderful, and their charm adds to the experience.
