November 2024, Sunday, 11:00 AM Bakery by Truffle Company Got some bread for lunch. A small bakery quietly nestled on the corner of a downtown residential area. They have a terrace, and while the shop itself is unpretentious, it exudes a sophisticated sense... Wow!! The visuals are eye-catching. The young staff greeted me. A gentleman handled the orders and consultations, and I bought the bread using their system. I carefully looked at the bread, read the name and price tags, and pondered my choices. They have many meal breads and toppings that go well with wine. Mentaiko French Bread - 310 yen Escargot French Bread - 310 yen Premium Croissant - 370 yen, Paper bag - 28 yen There was black truffle in the food display next to the register, priced per kilogram. They offered a sample of a sweet croissant. It was sweet, but the truffle aroma was amazing, making it a truly blissful bread. That was my favorite, and next time I'll get that and the Cube Cream Bread! Actually, that's the shop's signature item. Truffle Sugar - 290 yen A butter roll with truffle sugar sauce and truffle butter inside. That's why they gave out the sample. Lunch bread that goes well with wine. The Escargot bread was moist with a garlic aroma 🥖. The Mentaiko bread let the 🥖 shine. Premium Croissant 🥐 Crispy and buttery. Oh! It's not the truffle croissant, so it doesn't have the truffle aroma. They had two kinds of croissants... Delicious meal bread.
It was 2:30 PM, and there were no other customers. They didn't have the truffle croissant or the truffle sugar I was after. I should have asked what time they usually sell out. The elaborate food displays looked so real, you'd think you could smell them. Everything was arranged so stylishly, it really felt like Kiyosumi-shirakawa. I hadn't planned on it, but I ended up getting the truffle anko butter. Back home, I reheated it in a low oven, removing the butter first. As an anko butter, it was excellent, but the truffle flavor was just amazing. I guess that's the added value. Next time, I'll go right when they open and get what I want.
While wandering around Fukagawa, I was hit with an overwhelming aroma! There's a temple nearby, but the scent of incense just vanished. What a fantastic bakery! It's unleashing a violent truffle aroma like a right-wing activist. 😂 I cautiously entered the shop, and cold sweat poured down my face, my legs trembled, and the zipper on my wallet got stuck and wouldn't open. 😨💦 Before me, in a glass case, sat the Black Truffle, like a deity! Truffle-laden bread, which you couldn't call just "prepared food," was priced at 1706 yen. 💣 Shoot, this wasn't a place I, who wears poverty as a trademark, should have entered. ((( ；ﾟДﾟ)))ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾞﾙﾌﾞﾙ But this old man, caught in a spider's web, couldn't escape, no matter how much his hands shook or how much he sweated.🙅 I ordered something with porcini mushrooms, and they said they'd bring a fresh-baked one right away. Wow, this also has a gangster-like aroma, incredibly delicious! This level of intensity can't be described by price. 😍 This is amazing! ( ≧∀≦)ノ Hmm, this extreme level of flavor. 😅 Unfortunately, there's no eat-in space. When they handed me the freshly baked bread, it was wrapped in paper, and the hot cheese melted the paper, getting into my mouth. Next time, I'll bring my own container to buy it! 🎵
I made a reservation and visited. When I made the reservation, I selected a paper bag, but at the store, I was asked, "Would you like a bag?" I thought, "A bag again?" since I had already requested one, so I said I didn't need it. Then, the tray with the bread I ordered was placed in front of me, and the staff member just walked away. I put the bread in my own bag and left the store, but there was no "Thank you" from anyone. There were three staff members there. What was the reason for having me select a bag when I made the reservation? As for the bread itself, I thought the truffle sugar bread was delicious, but the croissant didn't have a buttery aroma, yet I could feel the oiliness.
The truffle flavor is definitely there! I was disappointed because the other bakery was closed, so I was driving around sulking when I spotted the name "truffle"🤩 There were a few people gathered in front of the stylish shop🤓 I was drawn in and entered. Some items are expensive, but it's helpful for first-timers that there are also reasonably priced options🤗 Sniffing the fragrant aroma🤤, I bought a baguette and a sugar pastry to try. First, I tried the baguette. The truffle aroma that wafts through your nose and the saltiness are quite delicious🥳 The bread itself is ordinary, but it's reasonably filling, and because it's a unique item at a reasonable price, I think it has good cost performance🤗 The sugar pastry has a sweet coating on the outside, and the inside has the truffle saltiness from before, so a strange sweet and salty flavor spreads in your mouth🤪 But... it's not bad😙 ...It's fluffy, so it disappears quickly😬 I discovered a shop I'm looking forward to, so next time I'll splurge and have a luxurious truffle feast🥳 [Visited: September 2023]
