This is a restaurant specializing in buckwheat flour crêpes, known as 'galettes'. Located on the 13th floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya, I was able to enter with almost no wait on a weekday afternoon around 2 pm. The weather was perfect, so I chose a terrace seat, which was almost full. I wanted to try both savory and sweet crêpes, so I ordered the lunch set with dessert and a drink. I could choose from a wide variety of main galettes and desserts. Shortly after ordering, a salad was brought to the table. The sweetness of the tomatoes and carrots was intense, exceeding my expectations! For my main course, I chose the 'Complet Pomme de Terre Champignon', which included a fried egg, ham, potatoes, cheese, and mushrooms. The crêpe was crispy and fragrant, and the runny yolk of the egg combined with the generous fillings made for a very satisfying meal. Even though I was quite full by this point, the dessert was also exquisite and delicious until the very last bite. The 'Hokkaido Butter and Acacia Honey' crêpe was soft and chewy, with a rich flavor of butter and honey that left me feeling content. The hot tea was served in a pot, allowing me to savor it slowly. There are so many menu options, and I definitely want to try different flavors next time. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the delicious meal!

We visited this restaurant for lunch because there was a children's event at Shinjuku Takashimaya. It was lunchtime, so we waited in line for 30 minutes. I ordered a set with a galette (egg, cheese, prosciutto, tomato, zucchini), dessert (caramel and berry crepe?), and a rosé cider (apple wine). The set cost 3,500 yen. The set includes regular cider, and the rosé cider is an additional 200 yen. The galette was large and filling. I also ordered an almond and chocolate crepe (with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream) as a separate dessert. The chocolate was slightly bitter and went well with the vanilla ice cream! It reminded me of the galettes and crepes I had in France before. The children shared two different crepes, half each, and had organic apple juice. It was delicious, and the children devoured it. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was like being in France, which was great 🇫🇷. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance. As a side note, the children were excited to see the trains from the 9th floor of Takashimaya 🚃.

I had been saving this place as a must-visit for a long time, having it in my mind as the galette shop in Shinjuku Takashimaya. When I arrived in front of the shop a little before lunchtime on a weekday, there was already a line. It was almost all women. You might have to wait in line even 10 minutes before opening. This shop has a terrace, so there are many seats. It was a hot day, but the terrace seats had an open feel, and the occasional breeze felt pleasant. The foreign staff at the shop were very friendly, and I enjoyed drinking cider and having delicious galette and dessert. It's a place I want to visit again with friends for special occasions.

**(2024.10)** Although I wasn't particularly enthusiastic, I revisited at my wife's request. I ordered the seasonal galette set for ¥3500. It included: - Corn soup - Bacon + cheese + potato + vegetable galette - Hokkaido butter and brown sugar crepe - Cider (sweet) It was a pretty substantial set. Last time, I mistakenly ordered a savory galette that I didn't really like, and I couldn't enjoy the meal at all. But this time, that wasn't the case. The galette had a wonderful aroma and texture, and the toppings were delicious. The crepe was also delicious, especially the rum raisin ice cream topping. It was surprisingly good, and I was pleasantly surprised. This time, it was a completely satisfying lunch that made me want to come back again. Thank you for the meal. **(Previous Review)** This is a stylish galette restaurant on the 13th floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya. There are three types of lunch sets, and I chose the ¥2650 one. It included salad + choice of galette + dessert crepe + coffee. I chose the onion cider confit for the galette and butter & sugar for the crepe. The salad was served first. It was a larger portion than I expected, but the vegetables weren't very fresh and had a strong bitterness. The dressing was also very sparse, making it difficult to eat. The galette had a fragrant and crispy texture, but I didn't really like the flavor or seasoning of the ingredients. The dessert crepe was decent, but I wished there was more butter. The seating was cramped and the atmosphere wasn't very comfortable. I don't think I'll want to go back again, but it might be okay for a cafe visit rather than a meal.

I've been here many times, and the food is always delicious. I also love the staff's friendly and caring hospitality. Even when I visit with my child, they are always happy to provide a high chair. My child often drops cutlery, but they always bring a replacement without complaint. It's so appreciated. They even speak to my child in French and Japanese, which makes my child happy. It's so nice to be able to enjoy a meal with my child without feeling overwhelmed. I always think, "I can enjoy a meal here, so I'll come back again!" The kids' menu is a great deal! It's a full course with soup, juice, galette, and crepe - it's so impressive. I'll be back again soon!
