Visited on Friday, January 17, 2025. Arrived at the restaurant around 11:25 AM, and there were already two people waiting. I ordered the boneless chicken curry and a mini salad. Last time I chose the standard soup, so this time I went with the black soup. As the menu describes, it has a slightly richer flavor and is delicious, but the spiciness of the curry is naturally masked. So, if you're looking for that, I wouldn't recommend the black soup. Personally, I prefer the standard soup, so I definitely want to try it again on my next visit. The mini salad felt a bit lacking for the price of 200 yen. However, overall, I was very satisfied and would like to visit again.

There are also images and detailed descriptions of the ingredients, so I think it's easy to understand even for first-timers. This time, even though it was my first time, I boldly chose spice level 10 (MAX). The moment I took the first sip, the spiciness was so intense that I thought, "I might have gone too far..." and I started to sweat, but as I kept eating, I somehow managed to finish it. The default ingredients are potatoes, pumpkin, burdock root, eggplant, carrots, green beans, baby corn, mizuna, and a boiled egg (half). I feel like burdock root is unusual. And I accidentally added eggplant as a topping even though it was already included. The round, senbei-like thing was the grilled cheese topping. It was different from what I expected...! But it was crispy, and eating it with the soup slightly mellowed the spiciness, and it was delicious in its own way. The chicken with the bone was so tender that it fell apart with a spoon. The presentation was also beautiful, and although the store is small, I like how cozy it is, and the staff is friendly, so I'd like to visit again to try other flavors.
I visited for lunch on a weekday. This restaurant serves delicious soup curry, located behind Shinjuku Sanchome Station. I ordered the chicken from the weekday lunch-only special lunch plate (1,200 yen). You can choose from four types of soup. Since I chose the standard soup at another branch before, I chose "Black" this time, which is a blend of tonkotsu soup. The curry comes with a colorful assortment of eight kinds of vegetables and a boiled egg topping, and it's a luxurious set with rice, salad, and a drink. The soup itself isn't black in color, and the taste didn't have the bitterness I had imagined. It's a rich and spicy flavor with the umami and richness of pork bone broth thoroughly dissolved in it. The chicken and vegetables also add to the deliciousness, making it addictive! The vegetables in the curry include young corn and green beans, which you don't often see at other restaurants, making it fun like a treasure hunt!
It was my first time trying soup curry! I'd heard that the famous Dominica often has a line, but I was able to get in without waiting! It was around 8 PM on a weekday. The curry had lots of vegetables, and it was a healthy meal. I chose the red soup, which had garlic chips, so I recommend a different soup if you're concerned about that.
I ordered the bone-in chicken soup curry for 1480 yen! It was very delicious. The chicken was incredibly tender and easily fell apart with a spoon. The burdock root and potatoes were also delicious. I wonder if they're from Hokkaido. The turmeric rice was also tasty. I highly recommend this place. The female staff member was very pleasant. The large male staff member asked, "Just one?" in a very casual way. I was like, are we friends? The air conditioner was covered in dust, and the walls were greasy, so maybe they should have a cleaning day once a year. It doesn't seem like they clean regularly, so it would be nice if the interior was cleaner and more stylish. The soup curry paintings on the wall were very nice.
