"Experience the charm of a traditional Japanese inn with natural hot springs in a prime location in the heart of the city.
As soon as you step through the entrance, you're transported to a secluded hot spring retreat. The atmosphere instantly transforms into that of a traditional inn.
Inside, you'll find yourself walking barefoot. Even the elevator is a Japanese-style elevator with tatami mats.
The rooms are simple and traditional Japanese-style, with tatami flooring. They are impeccably clean and well-maintained.
The view from the room is dominated by towering skyscrapers. Whether you see the high-rise buildings through the shoji screens as a jarring contrast or a futuristic bamboo forest is a matter of perspective. The grid pattern of the shoji screens creates a unique view of the cityscape.
Each floor has a lounge with complimentary coffee, snacks, and even small ice cream treats.
The top floor features a hot spring with slightly brownish, salty water. The open-air bath has a large skylight, offering a breathtaking view of the sky. It's like gazing at a constantly changing painting of clouds. Soaking in the open-air bath while watching the sky is incredibly relaxing.
The food is simply exceptional.
The dining room on the lower ground floor provides a serene space to focus on the culinary experience. The dishes are a feast for the eyes and palate, exceeding expectations. They pleasantly surprise you in the best way possible. Each bite offers a symphony of flavors and textures, making every meal a delight. If you're staying at the inn, be sure to make a reservation for this exceptional dining experience."

"With the hot weather continuing, I went to the Palace Lounge for some shaved ice. You can't make reservations for seats at the Palace Lounge's shaved ice, so I went in at the same time it opened at 11:00 AM, but most of the seats were already taken.
I love mango, so I ordered the "Mango Shaved Ice with Coconut and Yogurt Cream" set with hot coffee (¥4,000). It was a satisfying treat with plenty of sweet, fresh mango on top. My friend ordered the "Matcha Shaved Ice with Azuki Beans and Mochi." It was quite voluminous, with not only mochi but also black sugar jelly and matcha warabi mochi.
Hotel shaved ice, which is only available during this season, is truly the best! ♡"

An Elegant Evening at a French Brasserie

"This restaurant is lovely, with delicious food and a beautiful view of greenery from the windows. I ordered the full course, including appetizers, soup, pasta, main course, dessert, and coffee. The soup and pasta were particularly delicious. The wagyu beef in the main course had a good amount of marbling, but the fat on the edges was quite excessive. As others have mentioned, the restaurant is quite noisy. Given the clientele, price point, and brasserie style, it doesn't quite have the same refined feel as an Ukai restaurant. On the day I visited, a large group of women at a nearby table were particularly loud, making it difficult to hear the staff. Despite this, the staff were all incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent service. However, the lack of a peaceful atmosphere was a bit disappointing. Thank you for the delicious meal."
