"I heard rumors about a delicious sushi restaurant opening in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, so I went there right away! It's great that there are so few sushi restaurants in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. The restaurant opened in January 2024. Even though it's still brand new, it already has a 3.50 rating on Tabelog, which is incredibly popular. I think there are three reasons for its popularity: ① The head chef's proven skills, honed at a famous restaurant. ② The warm atmosphere created by the proprietress and the head chef. ③ A high-quality Edomae sushi course for ¥12,000, offering great value for money. The head chef is from Fukushima Prefecture, so all the sake served is from breweries in Fukushima. It's nice to see that local love. Above all, the service is excellent, and the relaxed atmosphere makes you feel very comfortable. It was a truly happy experience. It's close to my home, so I'll definitely go back! This place is going to be a hit. ▽--------------------------▽ ○Restaurant Name: Sushi Nikko ○Tabelog Rating: 3.50 (as of August 21, 2024) ○3-minute walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station ○Budget: ¥20,000 per person ○Address: FRAME 1F, 3-4-20 Kiyosumi, Koto-ku, Tokyo ○Business Hours: [Tue-Sat] 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM [Sun & Holidays] 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM / 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM ※Closed: Mondays ※Credit cards & QR payments accepted △--------------------------△ 【Reservations】 Reservations accepted 【Recommended Usage】 Family, friends, colleagues, couples 【Order】 ◆Omakase Course ¥12,000 ~Drink~ ◇Sanno-maru (Minami Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture) Kaido Otokoyama Sake Brewery ◇Aizu Shikon (Aizu-Wakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture) Nakurayama Sake Brewery ◇Nara-man Sake Mirai (Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture) Yumegokoro Sake Brewery ◇Umauma (Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture) Ariga Brewery ◇Summer's Sharpness ☆ Kara 2024 Tatsu Label No. 4 (Aizu-Wakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture) Tatsuizumi Sake Brewery ◇Miyajima (Aizu-Wakamatsu City) Miyajima Meijo Co., Ltd. ◇Hirokiki Tokubetsu Junmai (Aizu-Wakamatsu City) Hiroki Sake Brewery 【Course Contents】 〇Grilled eggplant purée 〇Hairtail sashimi: with salt and sudachi 〇Grilled yellowtail (Nagasaki Prefecture): with raw seven spices 〇Grilled conger eel marinated in soy sauce: with a plum soup 〇Spring rolls (eel, eggplant, blue cheese) topped with homemade bottarga 〇Palate cleanser: peach and Shine Muscat grapes with sesame vinegar 〇Nigiri ・Medium fatty tuna ・Horse mackerel ・Squid (Shimane Prefecture) ・Marinated lean tuna ・Sardine (Iwate Prefecture) 〇Small bowl Tocobusi with liver on top 〇Monkfish liver gunkan maki with small-sized watermelon pickled in Nara 〇Mackerel roll 〇Sea urchin hand roll 〇Shishito pepper hand roll 〇Conger eel nigiri 〇Additional Sea urchin: North Purple sea urchin Sea urchin: Saltwater sea urchin 〇Soup: Ginger and soy sauce"

"First-time visit. Seiryu-en, the yakiniku restaurant said to be the hardest to get a reservation at in Japan. I called every day on the 15th of each month, and finally managed to get a reservation!!! First, the exterior didn't look like a restaurant at all. A yakiniku restaurant known only to those in the know. I ordered five portions of salt-grilled tongue, two portions of harami (skirt steak), three portions of salt-grilled mino (beef tripe), three portions of mixed three kinds, yukke (raw beef), kimchi, and a mixed platter. At this restaurant, you can only order premium meat once at the beginning. I enjoyed some kimchi and the mixed platter with a draft beer, then had a second beer with the yukke, and then the salt-grilled tongue, harami, and mino arrived. The meat looked absolutely delicious. Of course, I started with the salt-grilled tongue 😋 I enjoyed it medium-rare, medium, and well-done! It was delicious no matter how it was cooked 😋 Next came my favorite harami. This harami was mind-blowing! I'd never tasted harami like this before! Is this really harami? It was so delicious。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。 The beautiful color of the salt-grilled mino. It looked like scallops. Next came the mixed three kinds platter. White rice goes well with the marinated meats 🍚 I enjoyed the Matsuzaka beef sirloin with a raw egg, had some white rice with the zabuton (shoulder cut), and let the Chateaubriand melt in my mouth 😋 Finally, I finished with egg soup! I don't think I'll ever have better yakiniku than this… Thank you for the delicious meal 😋"

"I visited around 1:30 PM on Saturday and waited for about 30 minutes. The soba noodles were delicious! I think it's worth the wait. The staff were kind. There was a wide variety of menu items. Even after I finished eating, there were still people waiting, so it's definitely a popular place! I understand why 😃"
